Her eyesight had come back completely now and she watched as the pilot did the same. It was only then that they remembered they had not gotten each other's names, and Poe remembered that he needed to find out who this woman was.
"What's your name, anyways?" She inquired.
"Poe. Poe Dameron. And you?" He inquired. She cocked her head in thought before responding.

(This is a retelling of DA2, with a special focus on a Hawke who wholeheartedly supports Anders and the Mage Underground. Some of the story/dialogue will be the same and some of it will be different. But being possessed by a spirit of Love meant she could not hide from her unwanted feelings, nor could she escape the reality of her situation; no matter how much she wished otherwise, a possessed mage and a former Templar could never be.
If only that could stop her heart from beating faster every time she was near him.

Solas stopped abruptly, turning to face her. His sharp, piercing gaze caught hers, and for a moment, Rook hesitated. Her breath faltered under the weight of his scrutiny. Slowly, she dropped her eyes to the ground and released her grip on his cloak.
“I swear fealty to you,” she said. “I will be your blade, if you’ll allow it. I know I’ve kept things from you—my story, even my name—but I swear that whatever knowledge I have, it could aid your cause. This I swear.”
She raised her eyes to meet his again, and to her surprise, Solas’s composure cracked. His mouth fell slightly ajar, and he stared at her as if she had just done something unfathomable.
Without waiting for a response, Rook drew her blade from its sheath.
“What are you—” Solas began, but the words faltered as she sliced the edge of the blade across her palm. A sharp hiss escaped her lips as blood seeped over her skin.
