When Meryl Stryfe meets the fabled Vash the Stampede - the legendary outlaw with one of the highest running bounties on his head outside of legacy-building bandits like the Nebraskas and actual full-fleshed gangs like the Bad Lads, the criminal with the dumbest wanted poster picture she’s seen through all of the seedy bars and sheriff offices she’s visited over the years in and out of December, and apparently one of if not the best gunslinger and thief on Noman’s Land - she expects… a lot.
She doesn’t expect Vash the Stampede to be not only a real person, but to also look exactly like his wanted poster, to basically be an overgrown teenager, and to have a son that seems, for all intents and purposes, older than The Stampede himself.

Zagreus smiled at Thanatos' back, knowing that he could hear the amusement in his voice. "Don't you find that interesting, Than? I wonder what our dance says about us."
What if Thanatos was a lot more reluctant to be with Zagreus? It takes Meg to convince Than to finally go for it and get with Zag. It just involves a bit of alcohol, getting black out drunk, and kidnapping the Prince of the Underworld in front of his Olympian relatives. Then when he finally does get Zagreus into bed, it doesn't go quite as planned.
Lots of awkward moments and firsts, but Than and Zag eventually finds a rhythm that works for them, laughing and discovering each of their likes and dislikes in the process.
