In retrospect, Kid couldn't even remember what had pushed the comment past his lips. He'd been picking at Law relentlessly since they'd all woken up the morning after the battle at Onigashima, attempting to compensate for how cohesive their fighting styles had turned out to be by being absolutely insufferable.
"Tcch, maybe if you quit starin' at Straw Hat's ass all the goddamn time-" Kid rolled his eyes when Law shot him an acidic glare.
"Eustass-" Law sneered and Kid realized abruptly that he'd well and truly pissed him off this time when he saw the unhinged gleam in his eyes. "Killer's pretty hot, isn't he?"
"Yeah, I mean-" Kid shot Killer an appraising look of his own- Broad shoulders, a narrow waist, long well-muscled legs clad in tight skinny jeans that molded perfectly to the curve of his ass. "I guess I'd say he's hot under there. Why-"
"Why don't you think on it for a while? You can let me know if you figure it out-" Law replied smugly as he lengthened his stride to catch up to Luffy and left Kid trailing slightly behind with his voice echoing in his subconscious.
Killer's pretty hot, isn't he?
The five words that completely ruined Kid's life.

Summary
Following her Captain’s line of vision, she saw Law sitting on the foremast with Chopper, both pouring over some notes with Chopper alternating between his notes being praised and being scared that it was Law praising them. She looked back down to see that Luffy was staring at Law with soft eyes and a wide grin, oh no.
“What are you talking about? Law looks scary sometimes but he’s the prettiest person I’ve met!” Just by looking at him Nami could tell that Luffy was being completely earnest, he truly thought that Law was the prettiest person he’d met.
Or, how the Straw Hat's deal with Luffy having a crush.

Summary
He's tempted to outright ask them about it when he sees them later, but that brings him around to the second problem of the day. He's late, and there is nothing he's going to do to fix it. For the past eight or so hours, his roommate has been a living weighted blanket for him, and fighting off the urge to fall back asleep is an uphill battle.
Luffy's nose is pressed firmly into Law's neck, each exhale soft and steady. One of his hands is between Law's head and the arm of the couch, keeping the uncomfortable stiffness from bothering Law, and the other has a loose grip on Law's tank top, right above his waist. Their legs and the blanket are so tangled that Law's sleepy mind can't fathom what's going where, so he doesn't bother to try. All he needs to do is keep his own arms around Luffy to keep him from rolling off the couch, and to hope his friends will take a rain check on their meeting.
It's unfortunate that he is only in control of one of those two tasks.
3+1, three times Law and Luffy have to argue that they aren't dating to their friends and family, and the one time they realize they are.

Summary
Luffy is homeless, Law just doesn't feel at home anywhere. A chance encounter and an impulsive offer might change that. Law really has no idea by how much... but maybe inviting the unknown isn't such a bad thing.
OR: Two forces of equal but opposing autism decide to share a home. Hilarity and tenderness ensue.
