Here it is, the fifth and final installment of this series!
This one is a bit different from the others - it's set in modern times, for one, and the relationship dynamics are not like in the other works, as well. It's more of a "they-meet-in-every-time(line)"-kind of thing. And don't worry, the Joseon-era vminkook does get a small cameo ;) I'm sure you'll notice it.

Summary
Before Jimin had come of age and presented, he had dreamed of finding someone. Only half of his kind were lucky enough to even have a mate. So many of his den had gone their entire lives without being blessed. The odds were unkind to the foxes. Perhaps it was a cosmic punishment for their gumiho nature.
On his way to another futile matchmaking meeting, gumiho Prince Jimin is waylaid by a strange creature of fire and ash. To protect himself from deadly injuries, his transforms into a fox.
Disgraced Healer Seokjin comes across the poor creature and takes it back to his supposedly haunted hanok to recover. Jimin discovers that perhaps he was looking for his precious mate in all of the wrong places.
A story of misunderstandings regarding dead birds, flower gathering as a surprisingly sexy chore, the word gekkering several times (fox scientists have a command over the English language that I can only envy), and true love as expressed by tailoring.
