“Art.” Tim appears to be doing his best, with little subtlety, to keep Art from seeing into his apartment, holding the door mostly closed and angling his body to block the gap. “What can I do for you?”
“Well…” Art begins, cautious. “This is a bit awkward, but I was hoping I could maybe borrow your couch for a day or two.”
Or: Art spends a few nights on Tim's couch, learns a few things about a couple of his deputies, and misses the hell out of his wife.
