Summary

The second time Akemi Homura meets Kaname Madoka, she runs up and promises to help Madoka, even as her eyes strain with getting used to color again. Her eyes only get a month to appreciate the feeling before her vision bleeds back to grayscale.
The third time, Akemi Homura is less excitable, more reserved. Her colors fade a month later as she pulls the trigger.
On the ninth loop, Akemi Homura wakes up to see her hospital room bathed in color and a tattoo on her wrist.

Rana, a tall amnesiac drow, has to grapple with their missing memories and the strange dark urge that turns their vision red. Shadowheart and Rana struggle with disordered eating and self image. Lae'Zel is captivated by Shadowheart's soft curves (who takes the gith's staring as judgemental). Rana, the leader of the tadpoled group, grapples with remorse for their actions and feelings for their companions. They aren't a normal drow, something is deeply wrong with them. Shadowheart and Gale are chubby in this fic isyk.
This fic features body dysmorphia (and dysphoria), eating disorders, self-harm, PTSD, dubious kink, yearning, whump, religious trauma, cannibalism, smut, and dead dove Durge antics.
May fluctuate in tone the more I write - some chapters are dark, some are light. Rating and tags are apt to change as I write more. “I assume the animals of this world require some amount of exercise if they’re not to collapse under the weight of their own atrophying muscles,” Lae’zel says. “But you wouldn’t know, would you? Do the disciples of Shar pre-kill their pets so they can skip right to the loss?”
