“Not that.” When Tarnished assured him that this affection was not simple novelty, morbid curiosity about a creature more beast than man. Morgott is still not sure he believes the words, pretty though they were. But he’s dwelled on it long enough anyway. “I mean to explain that this curse is much more than skin-deep. There are certain behaviours that are also animal. And… urges,” his amber gaze flicks over to the Tarnished, watching hawk-like for any signs of revulsion, “of the physical kind.”
On advice, Morgott finally (technically) takes Tarnished to bed in the hopes of sating a need and quelling his attachment. But Mohg's word is NEVER to be trusted.

Description never quite does it justice. That first well of glistening crimson, the way it flows thick, heady and molten-hot beneath his aching fangs. It’s everything he wants, everything he craves… though he’s not so lost in it that he doesn’t feel the retort, those pointed teeth sinking into his own skin. A sharp pain that quickly settles into a dull throb, his undead fortitude already seeks to seal the damage done, but it can’t heal an injury that’s still in progress. But still, it’s far from agony to be bitten; if anything, the sting makes the sweetness of the blood all the more pronounced.
How sweet it is. Blood seeps into his mouth, down his throat, and by some weird vampire anatomy is soon transfused into his veins. It’s liquid life, reigniting every subdued part of him as it goes, making his skin fizz and his fingers tingle with renewed vigour. It seeks to mend his newest wound; the clamp at his neck presses down harder in protest to him out-healing the damage, and Astarion can’t help the low groan that escapes him, his scarlet eyes fluttering shut in bliss. He ought not to like it, but-
Astarion fantasises about biting, and being bitten in return.
