It seemed that as each day went by, Hugo just got better and better, more observant, more attentive, sharper. He’d even begun noticing the smaller details about Varian, like the dumb way he talks to his inventions when he’s working on them, and that he is such a deep sleeper, it was almost laughable.
Or that he seemed to think that running his hands through his hair is the equivalent of styling it, and when he does; his hair gets pulled back – even if only for a moment - in way that makes Hugos stomach feel all weird, for whatever reason.
Hugo's just, really good at his job guys, he's so... observant... but only with Varian oddly enough, wonder why.
