Onmund didn’t know why he couldn’t sleep. It was the dead of night, and no other soul was awake. The College, for once, was strangely quiet, save for the echoing snores in the Hall of Attainment and the murmur of waves crashing against the cliff like a muffled lullaby. The bed was warmed, and the pillow had extra feathers. He’d just mastered the latest spell and wouldn’t embarrass himself in tomorrow’s lecture. Everything was perfect.
It should’ve been like any other night, but after what happened in that tavern, his mind could not find solace.

Summary
Riften was supposed to be a fresh start for Lys Hlaalu and her grandfather. When the Morag Tong drives them further west, a mix-up lands Lys in holding alongside none other than Ulfric Stormcloak and some of his men.
The Thalmor wanted Ulfric free by any means necessary, and so Lys wants revenge. As for how she'll achieve that, the Dunmer have always been a people known for ancestral worship.
