Summary
When the song was over, there was a brief pause. Charlie thought it must've been only in his head, because the world was moving in extreme slow motion. It was only after the ringing in his ears started to subside that suddenly, the roar of applause substituted the music; people were actually standing up to cheer on them. One girl had even began to jump up and down in excitement, whooping and yelling her heart away at the band. They’d never felt such energy come from their spectators, such love for what they had just presented, and it was absolutely intoxicating.
OR
The Heartstopper boys are in a band, and they just gave their first formal performance. Charlie likes his lead singer Nick and Nick might return those feelings.

Summary
The overhead lights start to flicker and a metallic groan echoes through the plane. Then there’s another jolt and the plane dips sharply.
With a gasp, Buck reaches for Eddie, who does the same, and they clasp each other’s hand tightly as they look at each other with wide eyes.
This isn’t just turbulence and everybody on this plane knows it. They’re going to crash.
Or: Buck and Eddie are in a plane crash that leaves them stranded in the wilderness and fighting for their lives together.

I mean not weird weird but different
[Eddie 11:49]
SlipperyFuck. Buck’s stomach does somersaults at that one-word text. He exhales a shaky, quivering breath, checking over his shoulder to make sure the coast is still clear. This must be how aristocrats felt when they saw a bare ankle.

Summary
A familiar voice and face send a wave of cold shock down his body as the next video starts, his eyes widening as he stares at Buck on his screen. ‘Baking While Baked’ is plastered in bold letters across the top of his video, confusion seeping into Eddie’s face.
“Hello, everybody. Welcome back to another video where I bake while being baked,” Buck winks, a sly smile sinking into his cheeks. His eyes are droopy, half-lidded, and red; his cheeks are flushed with a tint of pink, starting to spread across his nose and down his chin. His words come out slow, like honey dripping off his tongue.
“I’m going to try doing ASMR, but the keyword here is try,” a soothing, deep chuckle rumbles through Buck’s chest, spreading warmth over Eddie’s body.
Or where Buck posts videos on tiktok where he bakes while being baked. Eddie stumbles across them and ends up smoking with Buck and being a new addition to the videos. What happens when Eddie realizes something about himself that could put their relationship at risk?

Summary
“You’re cheating,” Buck accuses.
“I’m winning,” Eddie pants, looking far too smug.
“I’m—” Buck tries to tug his arms free from Eddie’s hold to no avail. How is Eddie so damn strong? “I’m letting you.”
“You’re letting me pin you down? Do you like getting your ass handed to you, Buck?”
Heat floods Buck’s gut. He does like getting his ass handed to him. Or—no, well… he likes being pinned, or thrown against walls, or–or floors. But that’s different. That’s a sex thing. This is definitely not a sex thing. This is a bro thing. They’re bro-wrestling. Bro-housing. This is the most platonic thing Buck’s done in his entire life. He doesn’t know why he’s sweating.
Channelling his inner carpet python, he gives a determined wriggle, but Eddie’s hands tighten around his wrists. The feeling sends a shock through Buck’s spinal column.
Oh no.
Eddie, breathless and beautiful above him, repeats, “Say uncle.”
Breath stuttering out of him, Buck freezes.
Use your head, Buck thinks. His dick twitches. Then, panicked, the big one.
Or: Buck and Eddie wrestle over the remote. They forget the remote.

Summary
Buck’s jaw clenches. “This isn’t you.”
Eddie’s smile turns mean, borderline unrecognizable even to himself. Buck is right, this isn’t him. It doesn’t even sound like his voice. But he’s exhausted. He’s hurt. And he’s done pretending there’s a way out of this that doesn’t involve blood in the water—they’re too far gone for that.
This wasn’t the plan, but he doesn’t pull back from the fight. He doubles down, clinging to the belief that devastation is better than emptiness, that being hated is better than being erased.
“Funny,” Eddie says softly. “Is that what you tell yourself when you fuck anyone who’ll have you? That it doesn’t mean anything? That it’s easier than admitting you’re trying not to think about me?”
Or,
Eddie figures his shit out. Eventually.
An Eddie Diaz character study, if you will.Series
