Summary
It’s always been about sex a little bit, and Greg’s known that from the start. Almost from the start. It doesn’t matter – he’d known that going in, and he’d still signed up, name on the dotted line, because he doesn’t care.
“You can do pretty much anything you want to me,” Alex had said at the time, before the thing was even fully commissioned, back when it was in that uncomfortable time where a lot of people had committed a lot of time and money to getting this made, but there was a high chance – a high chance – that someone up above would pull the plug, and everyone would have to slink home with their tails between their legs.
“You can do pretty much anything you want to me,” Alex begs now, lying with his shirt unbuttoned, open by his sides, his trousers down to his ankles, a makeshift blindfold (Greg’s scarf, slung down from the edge of the door) around his eyes, his hands knotted together behind his head, kept in place with hot-pink electrician’s tape, “Greg, you can do – you can do-”
“Yeah,” Greg says, hands on his hips, surveying Alex with pleasure, “You think I don’t know that?”

Summary
After Flint had told him about Thomas Hamilton, Silver tried to forget about the matter entirely or, instead, regard it practically: Captain James Flint once had a torrid affair with another man. It was simple, or it should’ve been, but weeks had passed since the revelation and Silver was still thinking of it, an inexplicable discomfort weighing heavy as an anchor on his chest.

Wilson said, “So we’re just two friends who want to have sex with each other, who aren’t going to do anything about it.”
Spoken with the incredulity of a beautiful person with low impulse control. House shrugged.
“We’ve been that for years. Why mess with success?”
Wilson was looking at his mouth. He sounded strained. “I don’t think what we’re doing qualifies as success.”

Summary
Erin Hunnicutt spends the summer in Seattle with her dad and the old war buddies she didn't know he had.
“My mom said we met when I was younger,” Erin said. She was still holding her green bag, standing stiffly in the middle of the living room. “Have you and my dad been friends for a long time?”
“Let’s see…we met in ‘52 That’d be 15 years now. I guess when you put it like that it just makes me sound old,” Hawkeye said.
Erin didn’t think he looked any older than her father. She’d always thought her father looked old, that there were lines in his face that weren’t in the faces of her friends’ fathers. She’d seen photos of him just before she was born. He looked young in those pictures. There was a childlike quality to his smile.
“You met my dad during the war,” Erin said.
Hawkeye smiled at her, and then tilted his head to one side, curiously. “He really didn’t tell you a thing about me, did he?” he said.
“My dad doesn’t tell me anything,” Erin said.
Hawkeye rolled his eyes. “Well, that makes two of us,” he said. “Your dad, I mean, not my dad. My dad calls me to tell me what he had for lunch.”

Summary
It’s a pleasant evening much like many pleasant evenings this month, so Crowley doesn’t expect anything unusual when he makes himself comfortable on his side of the couch and lets Aziraphale select the wine.
Which is why he’s resolutely caught off guard when Aziraphale disappears into a backroom, which Crowley always assumed was a wine cellar, and then turns around, darkness behind him and low, warm light gilding his hair and making his eyes bright. He’s breathtaking, he’s so beautiful, his eyes are so dark.
“Crowley,” he breathes.
Or, Crowley and Aziraphale have sex.

“Have you ever had a sex dream about someone you shouldn’t?”
The tell tale creak of Hawkeye’s bunk as he sat down. “I have. All the time.” Hawkeye paused. “Listen, it’s normal. Especially under stress and when you’re hurting for human contact.”
“Yeah,” BJ acquiesced, still not looking across the tent at him. “I guess you’re right.”

“I don’t believe in ghosts,” Hawkeye said. “Or demons, or poltergeists, or souls, or anything. The problem being, however, that my disbelief doesn’t seem to be fazing this ghost one iota.”
Ben grimaced apologetically.

Summary
Peg leaves BJ. Naturally, Hawkeye drops everything to fly 3000 miles and take up residence in his beach house.
“You okay?” he asks gently.
BJ nods. He’s more okay than he’s been in a long time. “I used to worry that if I were to see you again, it’d be like meeting a stranger.”
“Come on,” Hawkeye says, smiling. “We were never strangers.”

hawkeye is impossible, or so he’s been told.
Part character study, part experimental non-linear narrative, part a place for me to project and put all my unnecessarily specific headcanons in one place, today we’re taking a trip through hawkeye’s chaotic train of thought after being asked a simple question: “tell me about the bus.”

Summary
“You don’t have to smile at me,” Hawkeye says after a fourteen hour shift capped off with a letter from Peg about Gus-the-banker who fixed her overdraft fees last week. Hawk’s antsy and angry and as tense as a twice-haired cat. Charles is out who-knows-where. “I know the truth, Hunnicutt, and your golden boy act is bombing in the here and now. Metaphorically.”
(BJ and Hawkeye argue about volcanoes, Korea, and feelings—in that order.)

He starts for the stairs, listening to Dad move along behind him, their feet echoing in the empty of the house. He’s spent too long in one small place, had his life crammed up against the lives of others for far too long. And yet still somehow he didn’t understand, until now, that leaving Korea meant leaving them all. Somehow, without realizing, he’d come to expect they’d be coming home with him.
