not even 3000 words. absolutely gutting. i can't in good conscience recommend to anyone who doesn't recognise the characters since the whole piece is so dependent on what these two aren't saying to each other, and what they understand anyway. you simply have to be in on it, the way they are.

Reconnecting with Ronan Lynch is a bittersweet thing, because as it turns out, secrets aren't easy to keep when one moves back in with one's best friend. Especially as their relationship begins to change.
Unbeknownst to Gansey, he's got bigger problems to worry about--bigger problems that have hunted him halfway across the world. As it turns out, some secrets can bite.
