Summary
So Chris starts to wander. Walks around a nearby park, through the church and cemetery oddly located between a line of shops and tall condo buildings. Past the good dim sum place, by the pilates gym with the too-perky staff always handing out flyers for free trials of their barre classes. And finally into The Lost Little Library, Used Books. It smells like the most peaceful moments in his childhood, the paper-dust-quiet scent of the books in his mother’s studio.
Or, it would be peaceful, if the kid behind the counter would ever shut up.

Stiles is tired. It hasn’t even been a bad day. It was just long and draining, and he spent the better half of it wishing he could just go home and cuddle his husband.

Summary
“Can I stay?” Stiles asked, trying not to let the fear he felt bleed into his voice. He wasn’t sure he had much success, with how Chris’ entire face softened.
“Stiles,” he began, and Stiles already knew he was going to say no.
“Please, I—I don’t want to be alone. Not tonight,” Stiles told him, reaching forward.

Peter picks up the phone with apprehension. There is no reason for Stiles to be calling him, at least not a reason that wouldn’t require worry and dread.

A werewolf, a hunter, and a mage walk into - well, they don’t walk anywhere together. They’re far too different. Who has the trust for that?

Summary
Chris Argent blows back into Beacon Hills with Isaac Lahey in tow as if they had only been gone for a weekend trip somewhere. Stiles becomes immediately interested, much to Peter’s annoyance. He knew that when they decided to make things a little more formal (though still nothing official, Stiles isn’t his sub; Stiles isn’t even a sub, he has to remind himself), that Stiles was going to be a handful. But he hadn’t expected Stiles to bring up another Dom in the middle of sex.
“Do you think Isaac would share Chris?” Stiles muses as Peter cuffs him to the bed.
“Asking after another Dom while we’re in bed, Stiles? How gauche,” Peter says, trying to keep the humor in his voice, playing it off as if he isn’t bothered by it either way.
“Oh, don’t get me wrong,” Stiles says, looking up at Peter through his lashes, a classic submissive move that never fails to send a bolt of desire through Peter. “But, have you seen the man? Who wouldn’t want to kneel for him?”

Peter meets his eyes and takes a breath: “Chris is coming.”
Stiles drops his comic, feels his jaw go with it.
“DUDE. College Chris-Chris? The almost-happened that never did? The one you get all weepy about when you insist you can handle your rye but we both know you actually can’t handle it at all and I let you drink it because it makes you weepy and cute?”
“I do not get weepy.”

Summary
"You're a were-octopus," Chris murmurs, pressing a kiss to Stiles' lips at his lazily outraged expression.
"I'm not," Stiles says. "Peter, tell him."
"You're a were-puppy if anything," Peter drawls. He trails a hand along Stiles' side, down from his shoulder until it rests contentedly against his ass. "Cuddly and sweet."
Stiles wouldn't mind if Peter's touch would grow into a nice grope instead, but he has some honor to defend. "I'm denying birthday sex to both of you."

Summary
Even in the dim light, Peter can see Stiles’s cheeks pink up. “He was watching you,” comes Chris’s voice in his ear. “He has a crush.”
Peter can feel his brow furrow. “Oh? But I thought you two were together?”
Chris chuckles against his neck. “We are. But baby has a thing for older men who have pretty blue eyes.” He doesn’t sound the least bit upset about it, and Peter cranes his neck and turns to find Chris grinning.Interesting.

Summary
Chris flinches awake in the dark with his throat locked against a gasp. He’s shaking. There’s a bitter chill at his back, and his hands grope blindly across the cold sheets before falling still. It’s silent in his bedroom, apart from the pulse pounding in his ears. He’s alone. Of course he’s alone. He tries to steady his breathing.
Nothing has changed.
