“Yes,” the doctor says. “Heeseung’s endocrine system is producing bonding hormones in response to your pheromones. His nervous system has begun regulating itself around your scent.”
Sunghoon swallows. “But we’re not… together.”
“That isn’t a requirement,” the doctor replies, answering the same question Heeseung had earlier. “Neither is sexual contact. Bonds form through prolonged exposure, compatibility, and consistent safety.”
Heeseung stares at his hands, mortified. This might be the worst thing that’s ever happened to him.

Sunghoon’s breath hits his neck in uneven bursts of laughter, fingers dragging absently over the cotton of Jake’s shirt by his ribs, rougher than he’s touched Jake in years, and suddenly all Jake can think about is how good sex with Sunghoon must feel.

Summary
Yang Jungwon once worked in a secret agency called Vesselsoft, believing he'd be saving lives and making differences. However, certain events led him to ultimately walk away, never to look back.
Two years later, he is brought back into the game to help with a mission. Working with him is Park Jay, one of Vesselsoft's most skilled agents - and also the most intimidating. The two work together, and trust is a key point, but Jungwon isn't quite willing to lower his defenses. “You don’t have to tell us now,” he reminds Jake, sticking his head out just enough to press a light kiss to the top of his head. “But we’ll be here when you want to.”
He hums neutrally, squashing down the small and bitter feeling which starts budding in the pit of his stomach. Sunghoon kisses a small patch of skin just under his jaw, and it’s his way of showing agreement with what Heeseung said. For extra measure, Sunghoon tacks on, “No problem, Jakey.”
However, Jake not wanting to tell either of them might very well be the problem.

The thing about becoming a leader at the ripe age of 16 is that you learn to adapt. And no, adapting is not the same as growing. Jungwon didn’t have a chance to grow. He just braced himself every time something new came along his way, took a deep breath when he was close to drowning. His hyungs noticed because of course they did. But they couldn’t do anything either. The company had a tight grip on them and they were scared to get thrown into the deep sea without warning if they complained.
This system wasn’t perfect and it still threatened to collapse multiple times but it worked. At least till now.

The next, he wakes up as Nishimura Ri-ki, the rich, cruel antagonist of a novel he remembers skimming through because what even was that plot?Now, hes not letting what fate has planned for him to come true. So hes fading away. IHe does everything right—keeps his head down, skips the drama, and actively tries to become the most forgettable person in the room. Unfortunately, the story is not having it.
All Ni-ki wants is to survive this story and go back to his normal life. The problem? The novel might not let its villain escape so easily.
