Summary

knew based on pacing it wouldn’t get much farther than exposition but even then, sets up the characters wonderfully— feels like i’m reading BEAST where the differences to the canon universe still feel like they intersect with canon details & expand on them in their own unique way. the way tecchou and jouno in particular are set up is SO GOOD. tecchou’s disparaged idealism and jouno’s continued activity in criminal activity feel so in character. argh this story is good
