David wonders if Michael is even watching him. If it matters that Michael’s watching. If this is doing literally anything to make Michael feel better or in a more forgiving mood. The actual act of standing in the corner is ridiculous, but it’s what it symbolizes - the slight humiliation like he’s a kid in trouble at school, like David accepts that he needs to be punished somehow - that he hopes makes a difference.

The words stumbled out of his mouth with no approval from his brain. “Well, if it is a need, I could take you with me.”
“What? In the shower?” David dropped the voice and squinted at the screen.
Michael gave a non-committal hum while his stomach dropped right out of his ass. David leaned back and glanced off screen, to where the clock hung, completely ignoring the fact that his computer displayed the time as well, the luddite. David’s house would be quiet by now.
A zoom call that goes off the rails and the consequences of sex between friends.

Boyd and Raylan had been flirting continuously since Raylan first arrived back in Kentucky, but it hadn’t gone anywhere despite their past with each other because Raylan didn’t want to be involved with a criminal romantically. But when he’s brought to Boyd after being found in a bad way at a party, he’s not going to have any choice except to own up to his feelings for Boyd that he could never quite lose.
Boyd knew that Raylan would be angry when he woke up and realized that he said all of those things to him for real, but it gave him a starting point to work from. And if Raylan thought that he was ever leaving Boyd’s sight again he had another shock coming his way, because clearly his boy needed some intense care and attention. And since he said that he still loved Boyd, that made it clear that Boyd could give him all the love he desperately needed.
