“Mingyu.” the beanpole replies with a similar tightness.
Jun and Joshua eye them both cautiously, inching closer to each other and leaving them together as a consequence.
“Ooookaayy…” Joshua drawls, sharing a look with Jun before falling back on Seungcheol and Mingyu who yank their hands back to themselves as if scorched.
“Well then…” Jun clears his throat to gain everyone’s attention. “Lunch?”

And it was hideous. On Seungmin’s right wrist, the phrase
‘Eat shit’
, in glamourous, barely legible cursive handwriting, appeared, while a
‘Watch it, assface!’
in block letters intricately appeared on Minho’s left. It seemed to gleam with an otherworldly glow that didn’t look like the tattoos one would get at their typical parlor.The tattoos were unmistakable—soulmate tattoos, like the universe had just played such a twisted trick on both them and their future. The realization of the permanence of the scar left them with a complex mixture of emotions, from shock to the fear of the unknown to resentment.
Just because, they were now inexplicably bound together, and neither of them had the slightest idea of what this newfound connection would entail.

Summary
Apart from being recognized as a tool used for effective communication, languages are way too difficult to self-learn.
Cue Lee Minho, band member, resident idiot boyfriend slash Seungmin's personal Japanese language instructor dongsaeng. He ultimately decides it's about time his Seungmin hyung repays him by returning the favor of teaching him the language he despises—English.
Fortunately, they both find themselves breezing through the lessons...somehow. All that's left to do is to make sure distractions are off the table, and to actually apply the language to rather practical situations.
