    Summary

Duke sputtered as Bruce's massive gauntlet-clad fingers fumbled clumsily at the edges of his helmet. "B—Batman, I swear if you break my mask—"

Bruce ignored him, growling low in frustration when he couldn't find the release mechanism (because Duke had learned from Jason’s horror stories and installed a biometric lock).

Steph landed nearby. "Oh my god, I think he’s trying to check your temperature like a sick kid. B, we have literal thermometers in the suits."

Dick swung down next to them. "Nah nah nah, this is classic Batdad behavior—first comes the baby-carrying, then comes the 'must inspect child for ouchies' phase." He leaned in toward Duke. "He did this to me once after Fear Gas. Held me up by the armpits to check for head wounds."

Bruce finally gave up on removing Duke’s helmet, only to press their foreheads together with an audible thunk. "...No fever?"

Yeah. He was definitely a little inebriated on the gas.

Duke went completely still. "...Did you just headbutt me?"

    "Safe?"

Duke was starting to realize why everyone called Bruce "Caveman B" when drugged. (Damnit, Crane.)

    Summary

Tim is in the process of being adopted by Bruce but he discovers that Wayne Manor has a secret (other than the Bat secret). When Tim is cold, Jason lets him borrow his hoodie and makes an offhand comment that all the hoodies in Wayne Manor have magic powers. Tim knows that it's highly unlikely that jackets have magical powers, but this is Wayne Manor we're talking about, so anything is possible, right? Plus, doesn't Jason's Robin suit give him magic?

aka: Tim is living in a house of detectives, but he's going to solve the mystery of the potentially magical clothing of Wayne Manor all on his own.

This is a fluffy story for Flufftober 2023, but there's a healthy amount of hurt/comfort and whump too!

    Summary

or, How Tim Drake Found A Family, Became A Photojournalist, Learned To Love Coffee, and Grew Up, not necessarily in that order.

Tim Drake is thirteen, runs the famous BatWatch blog that has spiraled hilariously out of control, has absentee parents that suit his purposes just fine, is training himself to run the streets at night, and is doing absolutely peachy, thank you.

Alfred and Jason disagree, and get Dick and Bruce involved in figuring out their weird nextdoor neighbor kid’s life. Everything goes uphill from there.

    Summary

Tim Drake lives a perfectly good life. During the day, he's a freshman at Gotham Academy. At night, he surveils criminal activity and sends detailed analyses to Commissioner Gordon. If he's lucky, he might even get a photo of a Bat or two. He even writes increasingly popular LinkedIn articles about vigilantes and the criminal justice system under the pseudonym Jeffrey Anderson.

Gotham is the one that needs help, not Tim.

Bruce Wayne has a thing or two to say about that.

    Summary

Tim Drake is good at surviving.

He knows how to keep his head down, how to read a room, how to make himself useful enough to be tolerated. Between school, a café job, and a home that never quite feels like one, Tim doesn’t expect much more than that.

Babysitting Damian Wayne was supposed to be simple. Temporary. A paycheck.

Instead, Tim finds himself pulled into a family that notices too much, bruises that linger, smiles that don’t reach his eyes, silences that say more than words ever could.

The Batfamily sees one of their own.

    And Tim?
Tim is learning what it feels like when someone stays.
