Summary
The spirit vines—the heart —begin to crackle, like the very lightning he’s shooting at them. Mako’s own heart burns. It has for months now, ever since he looked at Wu in the morning light and something just clicked . It burns every time Wu holds his arm close to him as they walk. Whenever Mako, by some miracle, sleeps in and wakes up to long fingers threading through his hair, it burns. Every time Wu drops the facade he keeps up in public; he speaks in a soft voice, laughs with his eyes instead of his chest; Mako feels something in his heart spark.
That spark is warm, kind. The flames Wu brings into his life are flames Mako holds close to his chest, cupped softly between his hands like he must protect it. He does protect it.

Poe writes a love story based off him and Ranpo, so of course Ranpo decides it's the perfect book to visit.
Trapped by his own ability, Poe must make it through the book with Ranpo, and the multiple kisses (which he now regrets writing) that come along with the story.

Summary
It was at exactly 7:03 that Kaoru regretted his decision to stop the nurse from calling Kojiro.
The door opened to reveal him, but instead of the cheerful man Kaoru had hoped for, he saw a Kojiro with sad eyes that hadn’t even noticed him yet. A Korijo that murmured, “Hey Kaoru,” in such a hopeless voice. A Kojiro that held a small bag in one hand, and flowers in the other.
And goddammit Kojiro, because Kaoru wasn’t dead.

After his race with ADAM, Kaoru is put in a coma for three months. For the most part, he's unaware of how badly the other's deal with this. Especially Kojiro.

After the Shenanigans in York New, Leorio nurses a depleted and unconscious Kurapika back to health. Kurapika just thinks his friend deserves a bit of gratitude for these particular good deeds, the response he receives in return isn't something he would have ever expected.
“Do you understand?” he growls, impatient, “Do you know what you’re doing?”
“I just appreciate you so much,” Kurapika says quietly, almost tepid even, but his blistering gaze smolders, burning and sparked with new interest.
Leorio swallows.
