“What time are you picking us up tonight?” Kuai Liang looked up at him as they walked.
“I get off late. It should be ten o'clock,” Bi-han opened the door for them and Tomas bulldozed his way inside.
“Liu! Liu!” He shouted making a beeline right for the man without looking where he was going. The little boy playing in his path didn't even see him coming until he already slammed right into him. Kneeing him in the head and falling to the ground himself.
*Fuck.*
The boy screamed and cried as he held his head on the floor. Bi-han could already see the tears welling up in Tomas' eyes too.

His eyes close and his hands shake, almost tearing another slash in Luis' ruined shirt.
"You're going to live." Leon announces, his voice weaker than he'd like. "Because you don't get to die on me. Not now. Not ever."
"Ever?" Luis laughs and it sounds like a fork in a garbage disposal. Blood bubbles on his lips and he weakly spits it out, staining the dusty floor a lurid red. "That's serious business, Yanqui."
