Inside the East Empire's palace began a ruthless battle for the throne as the Imperial Heir is wounded.OR

Atsushi leaned back, watching the steam rise from his overly-sweet drink. "You know, the Agency is obsessed with the food part of Christmas. Tanizaki-san was talking about ordering the 'Party Buckets' of fried chicken. Apparently, it’s a whole thing?"
Akutagawa paused, holding his tea cup halfway toward his lips. Then, in a sign of confusion, he lowered it slowly. "Fried chicken."
"Yeah! It’s the tradition, right?" Atsushi smiled, but it faltered when he saw the genuine blankness in Akutagawa’s eyes.
"I am aware of the bird," Akutagawa said stiffly. "I am unaware of why it is synonymous with a religious holiday. Or why one would consume it out of a... 'bucket.'"
