Vi paced the length of the room with her chin pinched firmly between her fingers. She had been tracing a wide oval on the floor, her boots clanking heavily with every step. They had been over the plan several times already, Viktor lamented soundlessly, but he understood her nerves. Ekko, who was busy spinning himself in one of Viktor’s office chairs, slowed to a stop with an exaggerated groan, dragging the toe of his shoes along Viktor’s floor. “Vi, how many more times are you gonna make us—”
“Until it’s perfect, Ekko.” Vi interrupted brusquely. “Everyone needs to be on the same page about what they’re doing, where they’re supposed to be, and what we’re after. We’re not gonna get another shot at this for months if we fail.”

OR: The kids from Zaun have a plan—find whatever Jayce Talis has been working on and steal it. The Progress Day Gala is the perfect opportunity to do so. The only issue? Viktor has to attend to "present" his research to Heimerdinger. He should be in and out quickly—just long enough to get Vi into place and dip. If all goes smoothly, he'll never have to interact with Jayce Talis at all. Simple, right?

Summary
Viktor didn’t end up meeting his future husband in any of the usual places. Not an online dating app, not a club and not even through any mutual friends (not that he had very many of his own if he was being honest). Instead, Viktor met Jayce in the community garden at the end of his street.
Viktor is lost, having to rebuild his life after major surgery right after finishing university. Determined not to wallow in self-pity, he signs up to volunteer at the community garden at the end of his road, purposefully choosing a section that's been abandoned and struggling.
It's not just the plants that start thriving.

More vines coiled under Stolas’ knees, lifting his legs until he hung fully open, hips tilted forward, thighs trembling in the air.

He probably couldn’t help it with the way a particularly long, thick vine was slithering between his slick folds, ridged with pulsing veins and studded with slick nodules that caught on every nerve, dragging syrup-thick nectar over him until it pooled in globs and hung in obscene, clinging ropes. It dripped slowly — sweet as floral rot, heavy as oil — down his trembling thighs.
“Gods,” Stolas sobbed. His hips jerked. “I— I can’t—”
“You can,” Blitzø growled, standing now, unbuckling his pants. “Because I’m gonna fuck you so hard this fucking plant knows who you belong to.”

Stolas gets tangled up in the vines—literally—of one of Hell’s deadliest, most debauched species of flora and Blitzø has to act fast or lose him to a plant with a taste for sweet screams and ruin.
There’s only one rule: if the plant makes Stolas come, it keeps him. So Blitzø has to do it first.

Summary

Eventually, Stolas and Blitzø's paths cross again at a mutual friend's birthday party. Though awkward at first, the meeting sparks a tentative friendship, with both hiding their unresolved emotions. As their connection deepens, they find themselves unable to ignore the magnetic pull between them, despite their complicated past.
