Summary
A chain of unexpected events strands Pomni and Gummigoo. With no sign of immediate rescue, the two new friends set out to find the circus themselves, briefly stopping in Gummigoo’s supposedly non-existent village. The stay ends up longer than anticipated.
It's just one part of a world crammed full of bank heists, saloon brawls, marshmallow six-shooters and dodgy mine hideouts, toffee trains, candied ocean liners and the occasional vicious gumdropbear, all dripping with literal sugarcoating that keeps the family-unfriendly implications around a PG rating. Most of the time.
Pomni is tempted by the freedom to redefine herself and escape Caine’s presumed railroaded adventures. For Gummigoo, the map is painfully familiar yet absolutely alien, raising questions that he and Pomni might not be able to really answer. As time passes, the friends find the map, themselves, and their relationship changing for better and possibly worse.
Unable to summon Pomni back, Caine insists to the rest of the Circus that long-term entrapment in an adventure won’t cause lasting harm to either program or its participants. It’s soon apparent that even the A.I. ringmaster cannot anticipate the consequences hurtling towards them.

Summary
It was just another prank - until Pomni ended up in Jax’s room, and somehow, stuck in his head. What starts with bugs in a pillowcase and a few sarcastic jabs spirals into late-night confessions, "deadly" adventures, and a closeness neither of them expected. Jax isn’t used to caring. Shadow never expected to wake up again after shattering the Dark Mirror. Without the Hero he was created to follow, what’s the point of him? It’s a brave new world, and Shadow has no choice but to change with it, blissfully unaware of the Four Sword resting just below his feet.

“Well,” the boy said to it as the sun dipped closer to the trees, “your hero didn't show up yet, but I bet they're coming! I bet they're real nice, too. You’re probably going to save the world together.”
He was borrowing it. He was borrowing the Sword of Legend, and… what, checking in to see if it was needed? Waiting for a hero to come for it?
It wasn’t sure what to think. It wasn’t supposed to think about its wielders. But it found itself looking forward to the stories, keeping an eye out while the boy slept, memorizing as much of the information he gave it as it could.
Its job was to protect the innocent, after all.
Or: Hyrule finds a sword. The sword has opinions about this.

Five years later, Atlas is a normal teenage boy, who just happens to work for a murderous secretive organization of shape-changing trolls. It's not so bad though. The healthcare is free at least.
Until he finds a magical amulet.
This must be some sort of mistake. Atlas can't be the Trollhunter. Merlin was insane. He worked for the Janus Order for Pale Lady's sake. What was that stupid wizard thinking?
Suffice to say, things get...interesting.

Summary
For the record, Garroth didn’t intend to become an accomplice in an under-the-table trade deal. Things just ended up that way, circumstantially. Elderly women aren’t particularly great at inconspicuously smuggling goods, and Garroth will do anything to get out of the kitchen. So any moral ambiguity there is something he can worry about later, when it stops being convenient.
It certainly makes it easier to sweep things under the rug when the only other accomplice in the trade is a mysterious, cute florist who knows everything and nothing at all.

Garroth is a pretty decent pastry chef but an awful social navigator. Laurance is new to floristry but wise to everything else. Right now seems like the best place to figure things out. Maybe.

As a nearly perfect imitation of human life, Albedo has always had a natural inclination to study other people. By far the most interesting subject he’s discovered is Kaeya, his commoner friend who doesn’t seem to care at all about Albedo’s royal title or status. Problem with it is that is he lives in a world where love can get him killed. He soon finds himself choking on flowers and unable to tell Akechi how he feels because he's terrified of being rejected. Now Akira has to try leading the Phantom Thieves as he's slowly suffocating on bright red flowers. It doesn't help that Akechi decides he's going to keep an eye on them, so he and Akechi spend even more time together, making his hanahaki even worse. Can Akira survive this year?
