(Oh wow, I'm bookmarking something that isn't (just) Scarlet Hollow...)
I give this series a rec (the highest form of praise I can give something on this platform), but I recognize its flaws. Specifically, it is clear that the person who wrote this knows a lot more about STP than Scarlet Hollow. There are just a few little tells (such as random stuff that's not canon compliant that make no sense). The flaws are tiny, though, and the writing is oh so good. With each Princess comes a unique perspective and conflict that has room to breathe, unlike in the actual game, and they are explored well. If you've played both Slay the Princess and Scarlet Hollow, read the first five chapters. I have no idea what will happen after that, because firstly they aren't out yet and secondly, they aren't Scarlet Hollow fics. -

Old Gramma Eddie was making sure of it. This woman was a hundred and nine years old, and she still had a strong enough hold on Tabitha that she couldn’t defy her, even if she wanted to.
