"Han Jisung, what are you doing."
Jisung startles and almost jumps out of his chair. Minho scoffs and turns on the light, illuminating the dim living room. Jisung is on the couch, legs crossed and balancing his laptop on his knees. His frightened and surprised look melts Minho's heart.
"I thought we agreed on this, bug," he says softly while crossing the open space to sit down next to Jisung.
The curtains are slightly open, letting in the eerie glow of the street lamps and the fleeting lights of passing cars. It might be almost two in the morning but their neighborhood is always busy at night, as if all the city's night owls had instinctively decided to gather at the same place each day to waste away the night and to occupy their mind since sleep was a fleeting and fickle friend for them.
Including one Han Jisung.
- or Jisung has trouble sleeping so Minho makes it his mission to help him sleep.

“You think you can survive a mating run?” Minho wiggles Jisung’s wrists. “Your skin is bruising just from this. Be reasonable for once, listen to hyung.”

God, sometimes it is so frustrating how well Chan knows him. That he knows when Felix is going to argue so he stops it before the words even leave Felix's mouth. That he knows the difference between when Felix is refusing to talk and when he simply can't.

Minho squints at the message, then looks back up into the mirror. He turns his head this way and that, and begins to frown, unsatisfied with his Mister's response.
Minho knows that he's beautiful and sweet and lovely, of course, he knows that! But he cut his hair last night and it's made his eyes bigger and his cheekbones prettier, and all around, Minho looks far more beautiful and sweet and lovely than usual.
Why didn't Chan notice?
Why didn't Chan say anything about it?
Minho feels himself getting more upset the longer he thinks about it, and the longer he thinks about, the more his brain draws ridiculous conclusions he likely wouldn't normally come to. Not if he had a good night's sleep, not if he wasn't aching from the distance, and not if he was ignorant to people enjoying his Mister's company in place of him.
He huffs, that stormy rain cloud back above his head.
This is an awful, awful day!
or the one where a needy Minho throws a tantrum— protest! after his older boyfriend Chan doesn't notice his new haircut.

Chan bit his earlobe again, not quite hard enough to hurt. One hand moved from Felix’s waist, under his white shirt to stroke over his stomach, his ribs. “Has today been too bad for this?” he asked, barely audible.
“No,” Felix said immediately, making Chan giggle again. It was such a sweet sound, completely in contrast with the way he tightened his hold and moved his wandering hand further.
