The plots of these fics are not connected unless they are part of the same multi-chapter work. Each work in the series stands on its own.

To them, ‘going through something’ is almost dying, or literally the end of the world. Castiel’s world is not ending. It just feels like it is.
So he doesn’t say anything.

Summary

Summary
Summary: When Cas arrives at the Bunker, clearly ill, and keeps having trouble remembering Dean or Sam or English, the brothers have to resort to a spell which paints Cas in sigils in an effort to anchor him to his own memories.
The brothers aren’t prepared to experience Cas’ memories for themselves. Through events they thought they knew and ones they didn’t know existed, Sam and Dean will have to face the fact that with the years between them, and even with Dean secretly learning Enochian, they still haven’t fully translated Castiel.
If this works, they will have Cas with them and a whole new understanding, but the full extent of what it means to be Cas might be more than Dean can handle.

Summary
Castiel finds he needs to sink into the shows he's watching. It's harder and harder to drag himself away, and when the Winchesters return from dealing with the supposed ghost of Lizzie, they start to notice.

“Hello, bloody feather here.” He pressed his finger to his pant leg to slow the bleeding, staining the fabric at his knee. “Does it look like I didn't touch it?”
