Summary
Till makes himself and Ivan matching hair clips and wants to confess when giving Ivan his after school, but he has trouble bringing it up. When he finally manages to show Ivan the hair clip, of course the first thing Ivan does is suggest that it's for Mizi just because it's pink, but Till hasn't liked Mizi in years, and he has absolutely Had It that Ivan won't let that go. Till aggressively (affectionately) gives Ivan his hairclip that Till made for him because he thinks Ivan looks good in pink, and clarifies his feelings to an extent he never has before. Till struggles with emotional dysregulation and Ivan struggles with low self-esteem and verbalization, but they're quintessential dumb teenage boys in love, so they get there in the end, ultimately reclaiming pink as an Ivan color.

i really loved this!! i only ever bookmark things that make me feel some type of way that i can't name but make me feel inspired regardless, and given the fact that i've always seen ivan in conjunction to till, this was really refreshing to see! he explores his own personhood in a way that many alnst fics i've read don't do, so i'm very happy to have found this fic!!

i am GAGGED. the description of sua is so hauntingly beautiful,,, the description of sua's crimson-stained fingers and lips, her corpse-cold body temperature and her cruel simile that contrast so beautifully with the heavenly and gentle, almost deiform, visage that mizi describes is so fitting for the grief and hurt yet comfort mizi feels and finds in sua following sua's death and how mizi deifies sua!!

In this world, as in the other, it was love at first sight. Till looked at Mizi and blushed so deeply that Ivan thought he might catch fire, and Sua and Mizi looked at each other like they finally knew the meaning of the universe at eleven.
And Ivan, well, he was unlucky in this one too, because at least for now, his love would remain only his to bear. He would carry it for two, for years to come, and it would bring pain as much as it brought happiness. But later, he will find himself looking back and realize that he didn’t mind one bit, because the choice to love was never a waste, no matter the outcome.
Or, if they had more time and lived in a far gentler world.

this is fueling my epic and pjo obsessions lol
i love how, instead of just going along with the genders, it's the opposite gender! and i love how the opposite gender part becomes gender issues for annabeth and percy because in their current life, they're not the same gender as in their first life and thus, may not feel natural.
also the direction of making jason being the reincarnation of telemachus is so interesting to me. it's very fitting considering he parallels annabeth in so many ways, like personality for example, and can compete with percy in power. it's like showing how a child can pick up different traits from their parents.
overall, i'd love to read more from this series! :D

ngl this seemed so inspirational to me. like i love how athena recognizes that telemachus can't fight but he has the spirit and determination to continue on even if it's a losing battle. and like wisdom could come from her training telemachus because of how telemachus is and how it will inevitably effect her in the future. so yeah, i love this fic! :)

i'm just going to copy and paste my comment on this fic here bc my comment just says all my thoughts on it!
i love how you wrote this! the greek gods are complex and i really love how you wrote the relationship between zeus and hera!
the relationship between olympus's king and queen is complex given zeus has many children with many women and hera is his wife. many people only know of zeus's infidelity and it's often written about. however, not many people explore zeus and hera in their happier and loving times. so i love that you portrayed one of the times where they were more loving!
this fic also makes me feel bad for zeus, which is not how i usually feel about him. believe or not, i had a couple tears and was sniffling a bit! 😅
overall, i just love this fic and how well written it is! the topic of childhood abuse and s/a is a sensitive one and i love how you wrote the approach to the topic! it feels like it was handled with delicate care, as it should be in media!
