Summary
**SPOILERS FOR SEASON 4 VOLUME 2**
Robin has a hard time with romance. She overthinks, overthinks her overthinking, and finally settles for admiring from afar for an undetermined amount of time. But, because of this nasty habit, she's only ever felt the type of fast love that sparking hope from a glance has gifted her.
The butterflies in her stomach die slowly as she's taken into the houses of the party and her closest friends. The Upside Down rapidly approaches from the cracks in the Earth, quietly lying a layer of ash and soot on the treetops and pavements. She has no time to think about her parents' concerns while she prepares for war with the underworld.
She also doesn't invest much into the idea of how much she hangs out with Nancy so casually now. I mean, she's her best friend's ex, but she HAS to be around her now. It's not weird to talk to her. Not weird to stare at her side profile while she surfs the TV channels. Not weird to burn watching Jonathan kiss her... and DEFINITELY not weird to imagine herself in his position... oh no.

Robin never thought that the next eventful occurrence in her life after tossing Molotov cocktails at a telekinetic demon from another plane would be coaching a gay kid with a bowl cut on how to make moves on an emo dork with a girlfriend alongside Hawkins' main weed dealer, but she wasn't complaining much. Focused on recovering from all the Upside-Down shit, she gets closer to the others involved as they all pick up the pieces left behind. Because of this, she ends up going to Hellfire for a deal she had with Eddie, hoping to supply Will some "comfort" in the unknown territory. She says it's ridiculous at first but quickly reconsiders after it's revealed that the three highschoolers all know each other's secret.
So focused on mentoring Byers, she forgets to apply her advice to his crush's sister.

No one knows the true afterlife until it's too late. Unless you're Penny Lamb, the girl selected in a fairground band closet by an abandoned novelty machine to be brought back to life after her demise. But, as her old classmates' faces and (first) names join her throughout her new life, she realizes that the closest thing to an afterlife was the purgatory they were held in before. By living again, Karnak didn't mean coming back to life; he meant being able to KNOW she was living once more, and again, and again, and again.
How will her second time meeting the St. Cassian Chamber Choir go?
(A/N: This is not forcing any religious beliefs on anyone. Truly, we don't see what their afterlife was like other than floating in space, so I think the idea of reincarnation being real would be cool, especially for what that may mean to Jane Doe)
