Summary
“Hi,” Enid greeted, before remembering to step aside and let Wednesday in.
Wednesday’s midnight-dark eyes seemed to trace her face with a special kind of attention only reserved for her, briefly narrowing, before she took a step over the threshold. Enid opened her mouth, however, before she got to ask Wednesday how her day had been, Wednesday’s hands found her waist, drawing her in, and then she surprised both of them when Wednesday leaned in and kissed Enid.
And not like they kissed usually, during sex. No, this was neither desperate, nor heated. Just like—Hello. Like Wednesday was her girlfriend, seeing Enid for the first time in a week. Almost like this was something normal, people with no-strings arrangements did.
(Enid’s entire thought process crumbled before her eyes, her brain short-circuited and her heart did this weird jump that Enid personally hadn’t known it could.)

Summary

It is supposed to teach them about different outcast traditions.
Instead, it may finally force two oblivious roommates to realise just how deeply they have already become part of each other’s worlds.

Wednesday heard the tense. “What did you make before?”

With another school year ahead of them, they quickly fall back into the comfortable rhythm of living in a shared room (and sleeping in the same bed). Now that Lenore Addams was nine years old and in fourth grade her mother was less than surprised to get called into a mandatory meeting a month into the school year with her daughter's newest teacher.
What she didn't expect was to be greeted by an overly enthusiastic Enid Sinclair who, instead of being afraid of her child, was delighted by her. Wednesday was even more surprised when this teacher not only took interest in her daughter's interests and strange personality - but their little family as a whole.
She didn't trust her kindness, but Miss Sinclair was the first to trust Lenore. That was enough for now.

Summary
Down the sidewalk was a woman jogging, at first sight Wednesday’s breath halted in her lungs.
She was breathtakingly beautiful, even with sweat dripping down her forehead and dampening her t-shirt. She had light blonde hair with pink, purple, and blue streaks all throughout it, and it was tied up in a bun at the back of her head.
Wednesday couldn’t fully see her face from this distance, but Wednesday knew that the woman had beautiful blue eyes, bright enough to put the ocean to shame.
Wednesday thought she was dreaming, because that was the only place she had ever seen this woman before.
Those blue eyes, that blonde hair, burned into her brain. She would never forget it.
Wednesday had been plagued with dreams of the girl for years and years.
Countless nights, had Wednesday woken up with that girl's face on her mind, a name on the tip of her tongue, a name that she could never remember once daylight came.
The woman ran past the garden like it was so easy, as if the sight of her hadn’t left Wednesday spiraling and questioning reality.

Enid jumped to her feet, pointing at the little one with an incredulity that overflowed from her pores. "Are you kidding me?, Wends? Are you telling me we have a time traveler in our room? Is this some kind of Back to the Future thing?
On a night heavy, Wednesday returns to her room in Nevermore to find the most dangerous intruder of all: herself at five years old. Entangled in her own traps, the younger Addams arrives from the past to reclaim the darkness the teenager has tried to tame.Between icy recriminations and the imminent return of her past self, Wednesday must decide whether to continue hiding among the "outcasts" or embrace the Addams legacy/curse to protect the wild bond that keeps her alive.
