“It was Katara’s idea,” Sokka sings, while perusing the many different fabrics at the market. “And I drew out the design, of course, since I’m the artist in the family.” Toph sighs while he keeps shopping and dragging her along. “Oh and Zuko says he knows a great tailor who could put it all together!” Sokka adds on. His earthbender friend simply yawns - she didn’t know how exactly she got roped into this but it was going to be a long day.
Or it’s Aang birthday and Katara wants to give him the best of birthday presents - Kataang & GAang centric, a story told in five parts.

“No biting this time,” Shane warns, a finger held up to Ilya’s lips. “I’m tired of constantly applying that gross vampire ointment.” he explains, making the other man smirk. “If I don't get to bite,” Ilya repeats, a hand grabbing Shane by his hair, “then you don’t get to howl in the middle of the night,” Shane can’t help but offer a raised brow. “Oh c’mon, that’s not fair,” he complains, “you know I can’t control that!” or the one where Ilya is a vampire and Shane is a werewolf.

There’s something in the air today. As sure as anything, Katara can feel it, weaving through her as she brushes her long, chocolate curls— 100 strokes to make it like silk, her mother would say. Then, hair loops to make it like me.
Of course, most days for Katara are particularly memorable. Her father is wealthy and her friends are numerous, and being at the tippy-top of the social stratum in Republic City makes her social life very rich— but still. Something. The prescience curls like ribbons around her heart, her belly, and as she bounds down the stairs for breakfast, a grin overtakes her face.
She loves this feeling.
