    “A part of me, substantial and great, did die,” She said solemnly. The Director cleared his throat, gaining Mark’s attention. Right, he remembered, this wasn’t the reason he was here.
    “This way, please, we've got work to do and a planet to save,” Cecil murmured, eyes narrowed in on Mark. The Viltrumite opened his mouth, anger, hurt, and confusion pulsing through him. Cecil knew? She knew?
    “Don’t,” She interrupted sharply. “Not now. Not here.”
    Later, she seemed to say with her eyes. And Mark could do nothing as she turned on her heels and strode into the conference room. And so Mark followed, mere steps behind the woman he’d buried and mourned 10 months ago.

    超级好看的马克X读者文，马克虽然一开始显得很疯狂，但大体上还是遵循正典的正义感，只有在涉及读者时才疯狂
    变体马克和读者的相处太棒了，应该是我读过的第一本变体们第一时间约定好共享读者的文，太邪恶了，绝对符合正典
    读者最后的转变也水到渠成，自然又符合逻辑
    很多伏笔和call back看得爽死了
