Summary
Captain and Starlight are perfect for each other. Hongjoong and Seonghwa? Not so much.
For two years, Captain has been Seonghwa’s refuge, his online friend, the one that makes the world feel lighter. Captain is soft, patient, and a rock when Seonghwa needs comfort, teasing when he needs a push. Their chats have always been a little flirty, but lately they’ve been drifting somewhere else. Somewhere Captain craves control and Seonghwa just want to let go.
And yet, when morning comes, Seonghwa’s reality is nothing like that. Next door to his newly opened flower shop is Kim Hongjoong: tattooed, cocky and with an infuriatingly hot tongue piercing and words sharp enough to cut deep. They clash every time they cross paths and Seonghwa just wants Hongjoong to leave him alone.

Summary
Prince Park Seonghwa witnessed time and time again his father, the king, ruling over the kingdom as a tyrant, a ruthless individual who cared about no one but himself. Even with all his efforts to help, the kingdom never got out of despair. Seonghwa knew one day it would be his turn to rule and that was what he dreaded the most; he didn't want power, he didn't want to rule, though all he wanted was some form of peace for the kingdom that was too far gone.
When he does become king, peace eventually appears in the shape of someone, the pirate king ready to take all the power Seonghwa had and, well, he was all too eager to simply hand it over.

Summary
Seonghwa had patience. As eager as he was, he'd wait until he couldn't anymore. Hongjoong had no patience, and it wasn't long before their differences collided. Seonghwa could wait; he could also poke the bear long enough to make sure Hongjoong's lack of patience was diminished completely.

Summary
Seonghwa turned on his barstool, letting his gaze sweep over the room. The music, the lights, the uninhibited joy that radiated from every corner—it was intoxicating in a way that no drink could ever match. A group of people nearby caught his eye, their laughter rising above the din as they clinked their glasses together. One of them, an omega with dark curls and a mischievous grin, noticed Seonghwa looking and raised his glass in a friendly salute.
Seonghwa hesitated. Then, slowly, he offered a small smile in return. The omega’s grin widened, and he beckoned Seonghwa over with an inviting wave.
For a moment, Seonghwa stood frozen, the nervousness in his stomach threatening to anchor him in place. But then he slid off his stool, each step towards the group feeling like freedom kissing his lips for the first time. The laughter grew louder, the warmth of their camaraderie pulling him in like a moth to flame.
Tonight, he was just Seonghwa. And for the first time in his life, he felt like he could breathe. He felt free.
And he intended to savor every single moment.
