Summary
“Awe,” says Eddie, in a sugar-sweet tone, his eyes alight with mischief. “You’re just so good with them, Harrington. Going for babysitter of the year?”
Steve feels himself blush, looking out the window as he formulates a response sarcastic enough to not give away how much of a sap he’s actually become.
“Already got it.” He says with a casual shrug of his shoulders. “I’m moving on to the big leagues now.”
“The big leagues?”
“Oh yeah,” he says, shit-eating grin twitching at the edges of his lips. “Just you watch. Any day now I’m finally going to take my rightful place and usurp Mr. Wheeler as Mike's dad.”

When the dust clears and spring break is over; the world doesn’t end. The days keep coming as the fight goes on. Vecna disappears, Eddie lives, Max is in a coma, and Steve Harrington is tired of dreaming.
It’s a rare thing to get a happily ever after, and sometimes you have to fight for what you want.

Summary
A season 4 fix-it fic in which Vecna dies, everyone survives (even people you thought were already dead), and there are happy endings all round.
(In other words: they survived the apocalypse. Now they have to survive everything that comes after, including but not limited to: PTSD, sexuality crises, surprise babies, repairing relationships, vacation planning, 'adulting', and far too many people living in one house. Not necessarily in that order.)

Summary
People have an odd habit of beating the ever loving shit out of him before deciding he's their alpha.
A part of Steve knows that's really not how things are supposed to go, but then, when has anything in his life gone the way it should?
At least Eddie only threatened him with a bottle.
(An urban fantasy/werewolf AU wherein Eddie is constantly boggled at the fact that Steve Harrington, of all people, not only leads a Pack of completely dysfunctional children -and one teenage, band geek witch- but also seems to have decided Eddie is ALSO one of his.
Worse, he kinda likes it.)

Summary
“Nance?”
Wheeler stills with her hand on the doorknob, looking like a shellshocked private flung back into Saigon. Eddie’s hand slips from her shoulder, falling stiffly at his side.
The Dog in his brain perks up. It pants, instantly keen.
Groaning, he turns around and sees Steve Harrington peeking through the throng of partygoers. His eyes drift from the back of Wheeler's head to Eddie, and his relieved expression twists into recognition. Then, absolute befuddlement sinks into his face.
Eddie knows what it looks like, him taking Wheeler home. The beta dweeb freak that played Satanic board games in his spare time just swept an alpha’s girlfriend off her feet, whisking her away to his evil lair, no doubt to indoctrinate her into nefariously rolling a d-12 and screaming, I cast fireball!
First of all: not a beta, but no one needs to know that. Second of all: he didn’t sweep her off her feet. They were just bum-rushing out of a tight spot they found themselves in. Third of all: well. The Dog likes him.
(or: the modern omega's field guide to the good, the bad, and the fucking bizarre.)
