Summary
They were holding hands, skin against skin and expecting to reach the end of everything--together. And then...the end didn't come.
In the blink of an eye, Aziraphale and Crowley are rendered human and transported to a new world after God resets the universe, where they apparently live together as a bookseller and professor in a cottage. They don't know how or why they're still alive, but they utilize their unexpected second chance to tell each other everything they hadn't gotten to say in the old world, and have the relationship they always wanted.

A one-shot that turned into seven chapters of filth, one of comic resolution, and two bonus chapters because I have no self-control.

The scent hit him like a blow. Rich, golden caramel, smooth and warm, with a faint saltiness that lingered on the back of the tongue. The sweetness curled into his senses like smoke, decadent and overwhelming, and Aziraphale actually felt his mouth water. A full, traitorous Pavlovian reaction, as if he were standing in a bakery window staring at toffee éclairs instead of lying atop his damp, naked boyfriend.
Crowley let out a breathless laugh beneath him. “Good God, angel, if I’d known it’d have that effect, I’d have poured the bottle over my whole body.”

Crowley's shampoo smells like salted caramel and Aziraphale wants to eat him up - what more can I say?

To save each other from Heaven and Hell, Aziraphale and Crowley become human. Things, predictably, do not go as planned.
Crowley thought about what he’d come there to do. He thought about what it meant, in the context of God’s warning. Really thought. There wouldn’t be hopping from restaurant to restaurant with his best friend for the next six thousand years (give or take). There wouldn’t be any more miracles, or tempting. There wouldn’t be any skirting Hell’s wrath for eternity. And when it was over, the deepest, darkest, horriblest pits would be reserved for him.
Crowley said, “Will you make me human, too?”
