    Summary

The Piltover forces camping at River Pilt realize that the Noxian forces are advancing on them.

Caitlyn Kiramman suggests they ask the Zaunites for help.

“I’m sure you can handle yourself—but if anybody here recognizes you and you’re not seen with me, you’ll be thrown into a prison and we’ll all be screwed. Therefore I suggest you stay close and shut up.”

Amusement fills Vi’s face after seeing Caitlyn snap. “Got it.”

Caitlyn releases her hold on Vi and whips around to continue on their way.

    Summary

“You know what they say, save a drum, bang a drummer—”

    “Ugh, you’re disgusting.”

Vi grins sharply, a dangerous glint in her eyes as she absentmindedly taps away at a rhythm on the shared kitchen’s dining table, her enjoyment of Caitlyn’s frustration as clear as day.

Caitlyn thinks she needs more sleep, or someone to shake her, because she unfortunately thinks this back and forth is… doing it for her. So she ignores the way her cheeks flush, her stomach tight and her jaw tense, as she grabs her leftovers and leaves the kitchen.

(She has unfortunately already indeed thought about banging this drummer.)

    Summary

"What's wrong Cupcake?" Vi asked quietly, leaning over with that look of concern. "Nervous for the draft?"
"I Know what team I'm going to and I'm excited but I'm just... I'm not sure I want to play hockey without you..."

Caitlyn Kiramman, projected 1st overall for the Zaun Fissure Rats, is anticipated to be a generational up-and-coming rookie. Violet Lanes is a defensive winger and her linemate through juniors.

Caitlyn is basically Caitlin Clark for hockey and Cait and Vi are basically in love with each other the entire time.

    Summary

Caitlyn observes from the wall as Vi runs the routine, then comes over. She touches Vi’s lower back. Pushes, gently, guiding Vi through a rotation of her hips. Vi’s lower half lights up like a fork in a socket.

“It comes from here,” Caitlyn says. “Not so much the legs. Try it.”

Vi misses Caitlyn’s hand when she steps away. She follows the phantom push until she’s completed the sequence.

Tilting her head, Caitlyn says, “Better, but you’re stiff. Do you feel sexy?”

Vi’s been surrounded by gorgeous women every day, women with bouncier hair, longer legs, more graceful relevés. And instead of admiring them, she’s competing with them. So, no. Vi does not feel sexy.

Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders AU. Vi's trying out for the most elite cheer team in the country, but even a lifetime of dance couldn't prepare her for what she finds in Dallas: fierce competition, unrealistic beauty standards, and an unfortunate crush on cheer captain Caitlyn.

    Summary

“Say it again,” Vi all but begs. Her fingers dig into Caitlyn’s wrist and hip where she holds her close like she’ll float away in the ripples the wind makes in the grass, like the tide, like she isn’t Caitlyn’s anchor. Like she isn’t the only thing keeping Caitlyn afloat.

“Qīn’ài de. Oh, qīn’ài de. My dearest.”

Vi kisses her under the sunshine, the first time she’s felt it in years, and Caitlyn kisses back. Wind rustles through the trees, birds are singing, Caitlyn’s mom is dead, and she kisses Vi in the backyard she grew up in like she’s wanted to from the moment those bars between them slid open and Inmate 516 had a name again, a future again.

“Again,” Vi breathes. Their noses brush.

Caitlyn says it into her mouth as if Vi swallowing will keep it in her forever. “Qīn’ài de.”
