Summary
A strange case has presented itself to the Silvermane Guards that has vexed their best investigators: over the course of a month, three healthy, seemingly unconnected people have suddenly dropped dead. His curiosity piqued, Gepard decides to investigate, and the case takes him on a wild ride through every part of Belobog. It also brings him into the attention of one Sampo Koski, who has—for some reason—taken a personal interest in Gepard’s investigation, and keeps popping up everywhere. Where he isn’t wanted. (Gepard definitely doesn’t want him there and definitely doesn’t enjoy his company even a little. Nope. Not at all.)

It was so uncool to be this nervous and worked up over things he wasn't even sure would happen. He didn't even know if Aphelios was interested in more than friendship, which would be okay. Sett might be a little heartbroken but he could take a punch, even if it was to the heart.

“Okay,” Mo Guan Shan nods. “How do you like your eggs?”
“Scrambled,” is all he says. No mention of how he likes it cooked, no preference for seasoning, no specifications of any kind. He Cheng doesn’t really care as long as it’s edible and won’t upset his stomach.
After just about twenty minutes, Mo Guan Shan puts down a plate of the fluffiest looking scrambled eggs He Cheng has ever been served. He takes a forkful and lets out a low pleased sound at the back of his throat.
“Good?”
“It is.”
“Yeah. Figured you and Tian like your scrambled eggs the same.” Mo Guan Shan comments. “First time I made it he looked so pissed even though he couldn’t stop shovelling eggs in his mouth. Thought he might’ve hated it and was just eating it to, I don’t know, not hurt my feelings or some shit, but then I heard him curse you under his breath and ask for seconds.”
A thought that comes to He Cheng: He Tian eats breakfast and likes his eggs scrambled just like him.

Brughel Poisson was a necessary identity for Sampo, an elegant woman he used to carry out overworld business out of the eyes of the Silvermane Guards. But after a chance encounter in a bar, he manages to stumble into living on the Landau estate for an extended period of time. Playing Gepard's gentlemanly nature to get into close proximity of treasures likely hidden away on the estate.
But Sampo really didn't consider that he'd have to keep up his charade as Brughel the whole time. Which on it's own is fine, but when it's the only barrier between you and the person legally obligated to arrest you, it's different.
Even more different when you both have feelings for each other.
---“I never got your name, it may be important to know considering we will be living together for the foreseeable future.” Gepard used his free hand to push messy black bangs out of Sampo’s eyes, so he was able to look at him properly.
“Brughel Poisson, although I don’t have any esteemed titles like you do.”

Still tightly holding onto Gepard’s wrists, he leans down, his body coming flush up against the blonde’s. He watches as the pads inside his dress press against Gepard’s chest, which sends the Captain into a panic, completely unaware that they’re not real breasts.
‘’H-How indecent..’’ He hears Gepard mutter under his breath, which only makes him chuckle.
‘’Then how about we do something even more indecent, hm?’’ He purrs, lips grazing against Gepard’s ear. ‘’How about I help you out with this?’’Or, Sampo, under the guise of Madame Brughel, attempts to pull off what he believes to be a relatively easy heist on the Guard's Restricted Zone, and ends up stumbling upon Captain Gepard.
