Puzzles had always drawn Tony, and there was no greater puzzle than the God of Mischief. What began as morbid curiosity, self-destructive impulse, and unsubtly veiled threats had spiraled into something even Tony Stark could not have foreseen. With a battle looming on the horizon, was the side he had chosen the right one? Even if it was... would he be able to convince his friends, and gain the allies that he and Loki so desperately needed? This was supposed to be one smutty fic... yet, the God of Stories residing temporarily in my head decided otherwise. 😂
So here we are - starting a series set in a bit alternative universe, in which the invasion of New York didn't happen and Loki is simply an "Earth resident villain", much more troublesome and mischievous than "evil" or vengeful.
...And that one crazy night of fun he had with Tony Stark seems to be much more consequential than any of them would expect...
(The title comes from the song "Break the Rules" by Sinplus.)

This mortal is a fascinating puzzle, and Loki itches to put it together. It has -nothing- to do with how drawn he is to the mortal himself.
Neither one knows just how or why their stories are entwined by forces unknown.
