Shouto can't really be in heat, can he? It doesn't make sense, he knows Shouto's cycles and his own, but he's pregnant...
Ah. The doctor at Shouto’s last appointment, he brought home all these pamphlets about something called a false heat, or false estrus. Shouto explained to him what she told him then, that false heats tend to be uncommon but not unusual, and with Shouto's ancestry and his prime omega status, it made him exceptionally fertile, and bonded, fertile omegas were particularly prone to a false heat.

The mailman’s cheekbones pinken just a hint, brows pushing up his forehead, and he huffs out a short little laugh that absolutely does not make Gavin’s stomach flip and plummet to his galoshes.
“French press, huh? Consider me interested,” he replies warmly, and Gavin holds his breath.
“Awesome,” he squeaks out, and spins on his heel.
--Or, a stray kitten finally gives Gavin the excuse to talk to the mailman he's been crushing on for two years. Good things ensue.

“Are you the tutor? I mean. I assume. Are you Hunk?” he spews, tapping his fingers to his organic chemistry textbook.
Hunk grins, and damn. Damn. The dark rimmed retro glasses he’s wearing do nothing to diminish the way his eyes crinkle on the edges or how bright his smile is. Keith’s eyes track down to his plain tie, his shirt… are there cats on the collar? He’s wearing a sage green sweater over it, and honestly he looks like a library nerd. A math nerd. A complete dork. But, shit, if he wasn’t cute.
“Yeah, I’m Hunk. Part-time tutor,” he smiles at him, extending a hand across the desk.

Or, Keith needs a tutor, and Hunk happens to be the only one available to help him out. He doesn’t get a crush on him. Except he does. -

Hunk wakes with a face full of silky hair, tickling his nose and brushing over his cheeks. A bit clumsily he pushes the tufts away and resists the urge to sneeze, limbs sluggish as he untangles the knot of sheets around his feet.
Keith lays heavy on his chest, out like a light. He hopes that he better be sleeping, after all the… activity they had done earlier. Hunk smiles after he yawns, dragging his hand down the long plane of Keith’s side.

Hunk was meticulously and unnervingly good at keeping secrets. Especially this one secret that Keith relentlessly nagged him over and over about, ever since they’ve met, after finding out about Keith’s mutual love and appreciation for cars. Hunk, much to Keith’s endless annoyance, enjoyed teasing him the most minor of details. The shithead.
And today, Hunk told him it was finished. Finally.

"You're pretty." Hunk says, and he wanted to hide behind the crate as Keith’s eyes widen and the blush deepens, his shoulders coming up to his ears stiffly.
“You too,” Keith gasps out, his hand coming up to his mouth in surprise. “I-I mean--you’re very handsome--oh, damn--you’re the strongest on the team--,” he rambles, the words tumbling out before he snaps his mouth shut and hurls the bag into the crate.“Hunk? Buddy? You’re acting seriously weird,” Lance says flatly, narrowing his eyes at him.
“Yeah, a little, I’m feeling a little weird,” Hunk admits like a barrier has been removed completely, his mouth working on its own.--
Or, Hunk and Keith tumble into a meadow with some suspicious flowers. -
