Remus settled into the bench seat a little more- his version of planning mode, “who’s a muggleborn student who you think is a lot of fun, popular too? Preferably not a Gryffindor,” he gave Padfoot a significant glance and the boy smirked.
“Hm,” Mary’s head swivelled as she took in the hall, looking for inspiration. Being somewhat of a recluse and overall secretive person, Remus didn’t know all that many people very well outside of his circle. Mary, however, knew everyone. And everyone knew Mary.
“Dex,” she said at last, with a nod. Remus and Sirius followed her eyeline to see a seventh year, Declan Falkner, eating cheerily with his friends at the Ravenclaw table. Remus nodded thoughtfully.
“Hey DEX,” Mary yelled out.
