“Why,” Alexis says, with the careful enunciation of someone choosing each word precisely, “would Yoichi be reachable through me?”
A pause. The particular kind Michael deploys when he’s letting someone else’s sentence hang in the air long enough to hear how it sounds. “I don’t know, Alexis. Why would he be?”
“He wouldn’t. That’s my point. I don’t know where Yoichi is.”
“Mm.”
“I don’t keep track of Yoichi.”
“Of course not.”

It all started during Second Selection and came out of nowhere; hitting him like a curve ball he didn’t see coming his way. He was fast asleep until he was coaxed away from his deep slumber. Soft fingers played with the tips of his white strands, slowly but steadily pulling him into awareness. He heard how his name was called with a rough but velvety voice. Hearing it made Nagi wonder whether he should try to wake up or go back to sleep because the voice could result in both ends. The decision was taken from him though when the voice got louder, more demanding but still soft in its approach.
“Nagi… Nagi, you have to wake up or you won’t get breakfast and I can’t have that. I need you at your top performance, sleepy genius.”

God, maybe he changes his mind, after all. Yoichi is annoying and officially no longer allowed anywhere near his pussy (a lie). He contemplates actually kicking him, but decides against it. Getting dicked down is definitely more important than being petty. Yoichi is lucky that he wants his dick so badly.
Or, Alexis Ness is a dog hybrid with a mean streak after being thrown to the curb by his original owner Michael Kaiser. He just can't seem to settle into a home or find the right one... until he's shipped to a whole new country and dropped on Isagi Yoichi's doorstep. Yoichi is kind and patient, sure, but can a bad dog really change their ways?
