When Seonghwa finishes wiping down the tables, Hongjoong walks over. He pays for his beers with that familiar black card, but slides fifty dollars in cash across the counter.
“I was thinking,” Seonghwa says as he slips the money into his apron. He must look awful, his hair a mess after a six-hour shift at the bar, worn out from exhaustion and lack of sleep.
