This story follows Owain trying to protect his kingdom members, which includes keeping them from finding out about the price he pays for them. (Also, Nom lives! -but at a cost. That's what started this idea anyway.)
Everything is written platonically, but technically, I can't stop you from reading it any other way. I'll also add relationships/characters if I actually add more chapters (it's a gamble.)

Almost 7 years after the death of King Arthur and the betrayal of Owain, Galahad is expecting to return to the capital of with a simple report, and plenty of time to prepare for their annual festival honouring their former king. Instead, he ends up bringing along an odd young knight who's cat-like mannerisms, odd habits, and distinct fighting style are a little too familiar for comfort.
Almost a year after the resolution of the Red vs Blue war, Kitty is expecting a lighthearted trip around the kingdom her lion once knew so well in order to learn from the locals and deliver a message from Graecie about the creaking before making her way back home to help with the academy. Instead, she ends up in the presence of quite literally the only people in the kingdom who she has been told to avoid. Her in-laws.

Summary
After her fathers death 5 years ago, and her mothers death two years ago, Nene Yashiro lives on her own after filing for her own emancipation. She was proven to be deemed as a legal "adult" after finding a steady income from a cafe downtown.
Then there's Amane.
Amane lives with his brother Tsukasa, and his legal "dad" Tsuchigomori, after his mom was shown to be abusive, neglectful, and eventually was arrested by CPS, and his dad abandoning them at the age of five. And he gets a job at a cafe for classes he'll have to pay for soon enough.
When Amane and Nene meet at their job, they both start having strange dreams. Dreams that are too realistic to be figments that their minds have come up with, too realistic to NOT be memories. And dreams where they seem to always be the same two people.
