In which, Buck get's a phone call from Bobby inviting him to the a Grant-Nash family night.
"Hey, Cap!" Buck said as he answered his phone, smiling.
"Are you busy?"
No hello, no preamble, just that.
Buck blinked, smile faltering into confusion. "Uh—" He glanced around his apartment like the answer might be hiding between the cooling racks and mixing bowls. "No? Not really. Why?"
"Great. Grant-Nash family night is happening in roughly twenty minutes. It's make your own pizza night, so you better get here soon before Harry eats all the toppings."
There was a beat. A very small, very critical beat where Buck's brain tried—and failed—to catch up.
"Wait, what—"
The line went dead.

Summary
In the morning, he crept downstairs still half asleep, rubbing his hands over his blinking eyes as he tried to wake up. He made a beeline straight toward the coffee machine, knowing he was going to need at least two cups before anyone from his family showed up.
Buck loved them so much, but when the entire 118 family got together, it could be a lot to handle.
It wasn’t until he was standing in front of the coffee maker watching it brew that he realized the lights in the kitchen were on. He remembered turning off all of the lights before he went to bed. Buck looked around the room in confusion, his heart dropping when he spotted a cabinet and a drawer fully open across the room. Those were absolutely closed when he went to bed.
Yup. That confirmed it. His house was definitely haunted.
OR: Based on the promo for 9x05. Buck thinks his new house is haunted. Something a little spookier is happening.

She takes a step back and turns around, starting to make her way back to her car when the door behind her creaks and opens up, revealing Buck standing there in a ridiculous apron with the words ‘hot stuff coming through’ printed on it and flour dusting his face and clothes. Basically rendering the apron useless.
“May? You’re here early” He says confused but opens the door wider, inviting her in.
“Sorry, i’ll just come back later” she strains a smile and points towards her car.
“No, hey, come in. You can help me bake.” He grins and takes a step back, gesturing for her to come in.
