This was a fact that Izuku had learned when he was blessed with his little sister when he was only a year old. Knowing how his sister can get, he probably should’ve warned his classmates about her when she started at UA, but it really just slipped his mind.

he does, the voice is awfully familiar. It’s soft and sweet and broken but it’s full of warmth and izuku is cold.
Oh god, its Aizawa-sensei. thank goodness he’s okay.
”‘zawa?” He rasps, coughing up blood.
”yes izuku, it’s Aizawa. Can you stay awake for me, kiddo?”
