Hajime knows he's faking most of his surface personality, and he's also known Oikawa since they were five years old, so he's not fooled. The pressure is building, Oikawa is cracking, and Hajime's damned if he's gonna let such an incredible boy fall apart on his watch. Even if it means holding Oikawa together himself, he'll do it. He's been in love with the boy for years anyway, and there's nothing like helpless devotion as a motivation to hold on to each other even if the world feels like it’s crumbling to pieces around them.

Summary
Nico has never really been comfortable with his sexuality, of that Will is much aware. Still, he didn't think (ever, in a million years) that Nico would leave like that, to up and disappear. He gets it, he does, Nico had been placed in a very dangerous place when he'd been publically outed, but...Will had tried and tried to contact him and all he'd found was loneliness.
So when Nico messages him out of the blue and comes crashing back into his life three months later, everything feels fine and like relief, but...the honeymoon phase never lasts, and Will and Nico need to sort out a lot of shit if they're going to be able to have the happy ending Will's always dreamed of.
__or, mental health is a funny thing, if your kind of humor is watching life fuck you over when you're trying to make things work. this is adulthood, and even when you hold hands, it's still hard as hell to figure it all out.

It is, in fact, something else entirely. It is an experience, and it is where he learns that he is not who he thought he was, nor is he all that displeased with who he's becoming. The journey there, though, is arduous and exhausting, but the destination just may be worth every hurdle.

Nico's fading away from the fingertips, the shadows swallowing him whole. Will's doing his best to slow this, and such prolonged contact means Nico has to be civil...and Will's friendly, and warm, and he does things to Nico's stomach.
Meanwhile, the aftereffects of yet another war waged with kids as soldiers sweep over the camp, and Nico's not the only one trying to recover. After all, people died on both sides, and life as a demigod was never easy to begin with. Nico is, however, the only one struggling with not only guilt and waking up in the morning, but with the very dissolving of his hands and everything attached.

Or, the world is not fair, Fate is a cruel mistress, and the balance of luck is skewed. The universe faces Nico, and Nico stares back with an exasperated expression, because he's already dealt with enough shit for a lifetime, thank you, and he'd really appreciate it if the universe packed its things and left him the hell alone. Maybe the universe could leave Will Solace by his side, though, because things suck a little less when a warm smile and clear blue eyes are all Nico can see, and he's not done counting all those freckles.

Will's brotherly duty is to take Beth to get candy, as that's what you do with seven year old girls on Halloween. Once she's home, he can fetch Nico and make it to Jason Grace's party and have more than enough time to dance and make out with his boyfriend before the sun comes up.This is a little hard to do when Beth disappears, and Will's suddenly got to track her down before his Ma realizes he lost her in the first place.

Will is not scary. Will is, like, the farthest thing from scary. On top of that, Nico's not really scared of anything, and there's even a competition going on to see who can frighten him, because everyone's sort of half-convinced he's just not human, no one is totally fearless.
When the prize for the competition is actually something worth getting, though, Will decides he's gonna show everyone what they've been doing wrong, and he's gonna win.Series
