Summary
His whole life, all Bradley Bradshaw has ever wanted is to join the Navy. But his mother kept him shielded from the darker side of the Navy - especially its conservative views of omegas.
Bradley finds this out first hand at twenty-two years old, when he goes to a party at his new CO's office and meets his omega - Jake Seresin, Bradley's summer camp crush. Only it's Jake Prentiss now, with three small kids and another on the way, held captive not by laws but by the oppressive weight of his family, his duties, and the Navy's idea of a good omega.

Summary
“It’s 2024.”
Jake shook his head in confusion, the wider implications of that fact too large and horrifying for him to wrap his allegedly-broken brain around. He waited for Javy to laugh, to start bragging about successfully landing such a bad joke, before explaining what was really going on. Only, the laughter never came.
“It can’t be.”
“It is.”
Though Javy’s expression stayed sympathetic, something in it seemed to harden all of a sudden. Jake was left with the distinct impression that he hadn’t yet gotten to the worst part.
“And, um,” Javy took a breath, “Bradley’s your husband, Jake. You guys have been married nearly five years.”

Summary
There's always been a stubborn rumor that one of the squad is a natural. A stupid rumor, but it sticks around.
They're all augments. The military stripped back their humanity and rebuilt it with all the best parts of the disease: the strength, the senses, the ability to transform at will. They were spared the worst—the indignity of duress, the lingering after-effects of transformation, the constant risk of losing themselves to the wolf.
So no, none of the squad is a secret natural who's managed to fool the rest of them this whole time. But that doesn't stop them from joking about it.
or; in a squad of man-made werewolves, Jake Seresin is all natural. He loses himself somewhere along the way. Bradley finds him.

Summary
Seresin men love with reckless abandon. It’s put every man before him in the ground.
Jake refuses to be buried.
He flies like he has nothing left to lose (he doesn’t), a one man army (he is), leaving everyone else in the dust (so they don’t leave him). Admiral Kazansky claps him on the shoulder, says he expects great things from him, and Jake’s smile is feral as the rest of his flight school cohort looks on in disbelief.
Hangman, they all say, like Jake’s entire personality was a long con, and he ranks first in class.
Rooster doesn’t look at all.
(They've got history spanning the better part of a decade and they are absolutely, positively not over it.)

Summary
This is… it’s fucking nice, is what it is. It feels easy in a way that Jake never would have expected it to. It’s gotta be because they’re going back to their normal lives tomorrow, no pressure of having to see each other every day to make it awkward. A decent amount of mutual attraction helps, too.
