Sophie is desperately, hopelessly in love with Nathan. He’s locked in her mind, she believes they are meant to be, but it’s hard to tell whether or not Nathan loves her too…
Meanwhile Sophie’s best friend Clara continues her search for the right lyrics for her song. No matter much she stares into space thinking, humming the tune to herself, her mind can’t think of anything, but maybe someone else can…
With a huge concert by singer Bill Bresson coming up and Nathan acting stranger than ever, nobody really knows the truth…

In Barty’s defense, this was not what Pandora told him would happen. Yes, he signed up to be the guinea pig (as usual), and yes, he’d done this for years… so according to all logic, he should have remembered that her experiments rarely went according to plan. She was brilliant, of course, but in the experimental “let’s add a dash of this” mad scientist way. And when you start adding random shit to the potion, things happen. Not always good things.
Or: Barty has a problem with paying attention when Dora starts to sound like a Potions lecture.
