Summary
“Why don’t you pick?” Will deflected, fidgeting in his seat. Hannibal narrowed his eyes at him, calculating.
“Things are different now, Will. In this life we share together, we are equals. I have no intention of you forgetting that.” It’s clear the admission costs Hannibal something. It’s vulnerable, honest to a fault, and raw. It makes Will’s chest feel tight as he sees the tight skin of scars not fully healed, clawed years ago by his own betrayal.
Will nodded, and an aborted noise escaped the back of his throat. He felt like he owed Hannibal the truth in return. Maybe that had been his goal all along.
“I do have someone in mind,” Will started, his mind racing with all the ways Hannibal might react to his request. He took a deep breath, meeting Hannibal’s gaze pointedly. He took the plunge. “Bedelia would make a lovely dinner. Refined for your taste.” If the words came out as too bitter, Will didn’t really care.
“Interesting choice. I wonder for what reason.” Hannibal looked amused. That made Will furious.
Or a post-fall fic where Will finally gives Bedelia what's coming to her. He figures out his feelings for Hannibal along the way.

“I need to ask you something else, and I don’t want you to freak out.” Robin starts.
Steve furrows his eyebrows, concerned.
“Okay. Go for it.”
“In the Upside Down, I know you were pretty focused on Nancy, but I was watching you. Listening, paying attention.” Robin says, licking her lips.
“Okay, that’s a bit creepy, Rob.” Steve shakes his head.
“Let me finish.” Robin replies, holding up a finger. Steve shuts his mouth.
“I saw the way that you and Eddie interacted. It seemed like he was flirting with you. And the thing is, it looked like you were letting him. In fact, it almost seemed like you were enjoying it. You were flirting back. I guess what I’m asking you is: Were you intentionally flirting with Eddie Munson?” Robin raises her eyebrows.
“What?” Steve gapes.
Or the one where Steve is oblivious as ever, and Eddie is confused what Steve's deal is. Robin is the only one with a brain between the three of them, essentially. Takes place post S4, in which Vecna is defeated and everybody lives.

“I’ve apologized to you, time and time again. I’ve thrown myself at you. Begged for you to take me back. Declared my undying love on a stage in front of thousands of people. And where did it fucking get me?” Pete growls.
“I don’t know, Pete. Where did it get you?” Patrick tilts his head, clenching his fists like he’s ready to strangle Pete. The feeling is mutual.
“Nowhere!” Pete shouts, getting up in Patrick’s face. “Everything I’ve ever done for you. Did it mean nothing to you? Does it even matter? I tried so fucking hard to please you, to make you happy, to make you love me.
“I’m tired of groveling for your affection. Fuck you, Patrick. I’m done with it. I’m done with you. Have a nice life.” Pete feels like he’s possessed, like he’s watching everything happen outside of his body.

Summary
Pete has a tendency to make everything about himself. It's not intentional, he swears. He's a very empathetic person and he tries super hard to be a good shoulder to lean on.
But sometimes, (most of the time, if he's honest) the voice in the back of his head is too loud to drown out or ignore. Too persistent to shoo away.
He is usually too far in his own head to even notice what the people around him are going through, unless they voice it to him.
He considers this one of his fatal flaws. Pete is selfish. Narcissistic in his inability to think about anyone else's feelings for a goddamn second. Everything is about Pete.

Summary
Patrick is a rookie. So he’s like a baby deer just learning how to walk on wobbly legs. He’s not a bad cop, or anything. He knows what he’s supposed to do, in theory. Real world practice is much different. Harder. That’s not his fault. He’s just a man. The point is he’s trying, and he really isn’t too keen on getting fired.
He gets a call about a guy vandalizing someone’s private property. Not only with spray paint, but with piss. Patrick assumes the dude is probably drunk, and angry at someone. He’s finally on his own, so he nervously gets into his car and blasts David Bowie until he reaches the right place.
He pulls up to a fancy house in the suburbs, so fancy that it has a huge gate that’s security system protected. The man stands in front of him, a can of red spray paint in his hands. His back is to Patrick, so all he can see is that the man has long, dark hair and is dressed in very tight black jeans. So tight they look painted on.
Or the one where Patrick is a cop and Pete's a criminal. A meet ugly turned into a meet cute.

It wasn’t Peter’s idea to fight the pirate. But he likes a challenge. So if the Lost Boys dare him to duel the Captain of the Jolly Roger, he’s gonna do it. It’s not like he’s got much to lose. He’s invincible, after all. He can fly. He’s also been practicing his sword fighting.
So when the ship is docked in Neverland, Peter skips up the walkway and onto the main deck. The pirate’s crew is interspersed, but they all turn to look at him when the Captain freezes behind the helm.
The pirate walks over to him confidently, steady and sure. He looks down at Peter’s face in something akin to a mix of confusion and distaste.
“What do you want, boy?” The captain asks gruffly.
“I want to challenge you to a duel, sir.” Peter grins, eyes sparkling with mischief. He can feel the Lost Boys’ eyes on his back.

Patrick hates the holidays for a multitude of reasons. His father passed away a few years back around Christmas time.
Ever since then, he can’t go back home for Christmas with just his mother and his siblings. The house feels too empty, too quiet. His mother looks so sad, he can’t bear to look at her forlorn face anymore.
So when Thanksgiving and Christmas roll around, Patrick spends them alone. Because he doesn’t want to go home, and he has no one to spend it with in New York.

Summary
When the band gets back together, Patrick has a lot of conflicting feelings. He isn’t sure if trying this again will work. What if everything is exactly the same? What if it’s different? Both scenarios fill Patrick with an impending sense of doom.
He doesn’t like the uncertainty of it. Patrick has talked to the other guys during the hiatus, a sporadic phone call, text, or email here and there. He even went to Joe’s wedding.
Shortly after he submitted that blog post, Pete called him to check on him. A weird, ironic twist of fate. It felt wrong to Patrick, like a complete role reversal in their dynamic.

Pete’s mother died a few years ago, and with her death Pete gained a new job and a soulless smile to match. He was always a mama’s boy, and his father passed away when he was very little. Pete barely remembers him.
The motel is right by a lake, which just happens to be convenient to Pete’s interests.

Summary
Even though summer is nearly over, it’s sweltering outside. It’s the last heat wave before the air turns crisp and cold with the change of seasons. Pete is used to harsh winters, but California will never get cold the way Chicago does. It’s a beautiful place, but it will never be the same as where he grew up.
Pete is walking down the Santa Monica pier with Patrick at his side. After getting back from tour, Pete thought it would be nice. Patrick said he had never been here before, and Pete couldn’t believe it, couldn’t resist offering to take him.
They’re walking close together, shoulders brushing. Pete desperately wants to hold Patrick’s hand, but he has a feeling he’d get punched if he tried. They’re also both sweating profusely, but Pete wants to touch Patrick in any way he can, no matter how sweaty he is.

The hazy summer nights are nearly over, fading into the crisp air of fall. Patrick and Pete collapsed into bed together as soon as they got home from tour. Gabe is supposed to be back from his own summer tour any minute now.
It’s early morning, and Patrick’s jetlagged body has decided it’s time to be awake again. He definitely hasn’t slept enough, still sore and tired. But his mind is racing a mile a minute, mostly in excitement. He usually doesn’t get up before noon, but his body is thrumming with the knowledge Gabe will be home soon.

Summary
If you had asked Pete what he wanted to do with his life when he was a teenager, he would’ve told you he wanted to be in a band. He was, for a while.
But his parents thought it wasn’t a viable career with a steady income. Pete enjoyed it while it lasted. But he eventually had to admit defeat. Despite his passion for words, he wasn’t a great bass player. He was an even worse singer, and his screaming was deemed incomprehensible and grating.
So Pete had to find a new dream. As he got older, he realized he really loved helping people. He wanted to save lives, but he couldn’t see himself being a police officer or a doctor. So he went for the next best thing: a firefighter. His friends said he was either just crazy or downright stupid. It was a risky job. But it felt like Pete’s second calling. Besides, he had a habit of being reckless with his own life anyway.
He might as well do something important. Make himself useful. Have a real purpose in a world he thought he could never belong in. He’s become such a strange shape from trying to fit in. He’s sick of pretending to be someone he’s not.

Patrick has heard a lot of rumors about Pete Wentz. They range from bad, to good, to downright ugly. He admits he is attracted to some aspects of the bad boy reputation, but the truth of the matter is he admires Pete.
He’s seen him perform with Arma at least 30 times, and there’s something about him that reels Patrick in. Charisma. A stage presence that’s truly one of a kind. A sense of humor. A man who carries himself so gracefully it’s absolutely captivating.
A man who screams out heart wrenching lyrics with a passion Patrick has never seen before. Patrick thinks Pete was born to perform.
He is always the biggest and loudest person in the room. He grasps everyone’s attention. Everyone wants him. Patrick knows this; he is not special. Pete is. Summary
Patrick is desperately trying to fight off the beginnings of a headache when a man is rolled into the waiting room on a gurney by a couple of paramedics. Patrick looks up at the sound of a squeaky wheel on the gurney, grating against the linoleum with every step.
Patrick refrains from rolling his eyes, and decides he should remain professional and do his job, no matter how annoyed and ready to go home he is.
He approaches the man on the gurney warily, cataloging what looks to be a bad head wound. There’s blood everywhere, on the man’s hands, his Metallica shirt, there’s even some dripping down his neck. The towel the paramedic is holding is soaked through with blood, and he seems exasperated but keeps the pressure against the wound nonetheless.

“You still haven’t told me where our destination is.” Patrick breaks the silence suddenly. Pete tilts his head, considering.
“I mean, I don’t really have one. I figured we’d go as many miles as possible before we have to turn around for the return trip so we can get back by Monday. The journey is the destination, my dear Patty.” Pete says. Like most things in life, he wings it.
“You’re ridiculous.” Patrick sighs, but he’s still smiling. “Fine. But I demand a hotel for at least one of these nights because my neck is killing me from sleeping in this stupid car.”
“You have yourself a deal, Mr. Stump.” Pete holds out a hand for a shake, all necessary for the joke. Patrick makes a face and turns the radio up. Pete giggles and puts both hands back on the wheel.
