Summary
after the lab explosion and following quarantine and almost pandemic, the public finds out, and the 118 goes viral. they go so viral that reality tv shows want them to guest star. any bachelor footage that shows them at the mansion that one time they had to unglue that girl from the driveway aired.
even dancing with the stars wanted a taste of their newfound fame. they even decided to host a mini-season between seasons 33 and 34 that featured the 118 paired with various professionals, with the prize being a bonus on the winner's paycheck.

Summary
buck is a jet ski rental worker by day and a bartender by night at a beach in peru. after chris shows up at his rental stand and it makes buck and eddie spark up conversation (read: flirtations), buck finds out eddie's not only shipping off to afghanistan for the second time but also getting divorced (since his wife decided to leave for california without him or their son). and he needs someone to watch his son. coincidentally, chris loves hanging out with buck.
what if they got married so chris didn't have to legally stay with eddie's parents that want him to stay in texas and, rather, could stay with buck? -

“You really think this is a good idea?” Buck asks.
His blue eyes sparkle in the dim light of the kitchen, and Eddie can’t quite tell if it’s a reflection creating the illusion or if they’re simply brimming with tears. Either way, he looks vulnerable. Beautiful—but vulnerable.
Like a child who misses his father.
“I think it couldn’t hurt any more than it already does to try,” Eddie tells him honestly. “And, hey, if you’re in need of some company, I’ll come with you.”
Buck blinks up at him. “You’d really want to do that with me?”
“It could be fun.” Eddie shrugs. “Well, as fun as visiting a cemetery can be.”
OR: A visit to Bobby’s grave in Minnesota takes an unforeseen turn when Buck, Eddie, May, and Harry encounter an unexpected yet painfully familiar face.

Eddie stared at him.
Buck stared back.
The refrigerator hummed. The monitor hissed faintly. Eddie could hear his own pulse, which seemed dramatic and unhelpful.
“What?” Eddie said.
Buck looked down, then back up. “Not like. I mean, legally. For Theo. For the stability thing.”
Eddie’s mouth had gone dry.
Buck kept talking. He did that when he was nervous. Built a whole staircase of words and then tried to jump down it. “I know it sounds insane. I know. And I’m not asking because I’m freaking out. I mean, I am always a little bit freaking out, but that’s not why. I’m asking because if I had to pick someone to have legal standing with Theo, someone who already shows up and knows him and knows me, it would be you.”
Eddie said nothing.
Buck’s face tightened. “You can say no.”
“I know.”

“Seriously Buck? Not selling it? And who are you to tell me, a seasoned actor, what is and isn’t selling it? You’re just a film intern, not an actor.” Eddie spits back, causing Buck to smirk. Oh Eddie can’t wait to put him in his place one day.

Summary
Eddie is working hard on figuring himself out, getting a life, and also reestablishing contact with Buck after worrying about them drifting apart and their friendship changing. Realizing that sometimes people misunderstand his relationship with Buck should not be the shock it is. Also, if Chris could stop launching verbal sneak attacks on him, he'd appreciate it.
Meanwhile, Buck's learning to parent a toddler while not at all being insecure about something said by one Margaret Buckley. He's just studiously avoiding the word 'Parent' like the plague, and otherwise doing his damn best.

If Buck had a nickel for every time someone left him their kid in their will without his knowledge—well, he’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it’s happened twice now.
