He reached up, his slender fingers wrapping around Dunk’s massive forearms, trying—and utterly failing—to pull the giant beta down on top of him. “I am dripping, you thick-skulled beast. Look at me. Touch me. If you won’t give me your manhood, use your fingers. Please.”

    That last word was practically choked out, a rare, bruised admission of need that Aerion would undoubtedly make him pay for once the heat was over.

    Or, Dunk is no alpha, but he's the only man in the Seven Kingdoms that Aerion will ever beg for.

    When Aerion came sidling home with an omega too big, too lowborn to ever be considered remotely respectable, Maekar had been furious. He’d made every attempt to separate them, to chase the omega away, to convince his son of the shame of it all.

    They’d married anyways, hand fasted in the ways of men and dragon, bound by something no mortal could undo, no matter how dragon blooded.

    So Maekar had put it aside, as he did many a thing he couldn’t control, couldn’t bend into shape. For a moment, he’d even thought to himself, watching as Aerion leaned in to whisper something into his giggling omega’s ear, maybe this is it, maybe this is the peace he needs.

    And yet, damnably enough, the Targaryen madness found them anyways.

    Maekar raises his grandchild alone and thinks, in the terrible quiet darkness, my last one, my last one, my last one.

    "Why did you kidnap me?" Dunk asked nervously.

    "Someone was marking up my trees and spreading their scent in my forest. I went to investigate. Imagine my luck to find a bride in my woods," the man ran a tongue across his teeth with a predatory expression.

    "Bride? With all due respect ser, I am a man," Dunk swallowed dryly. This had to be a mixup. Dunk had long hair down to his shoulders so maybe the dragon mistook him for a muscular maiden.

    EDIT 5/9/26: Chapter 2 is now added as bonus chapter containing Maekar and Dyanna's story with a little bit of Dunkaerionling Maegor

    Or The time Dunk got lost and ended up being kidnapped by a dragon who demanded marriage.

    After Aerion Targaryen is defeated during the Trial of the Seven, his father devises a harsher punishment than simply sending him off to Lys. He rules that his wayward son, the only omega of House Targaryen, will be given in marriage to Ser Duncan the Tall, newly enobled and enriched by the king.

    Forced into wedlock with the man who bested him, Aerion has to battle with his own guilt and rage, as well as the budding emotions building up between him and his foe.
